bought a 360 but no serial number found...

on the receipt, this was at walmart all it shows is the SKU code on the receipt, am I screwed if I want to return this?

the receipt isnt gonna show a serial number. Once it is opened you dont return it to the store anyways...they will tell you to call MS customer service unless you get a warranty through walmart

Why wouldn't it have a serial number? I have purchased several consoles through the past, they have always included a serial number for hardware on the receipt.

Dude the serial # is on the console itself.

Most stores have the serial number on the receipts for purchases, this was a gift, I had no trouble returning it

And looks like Walmart just changed their return policy for video game hardware, it's 15 days now (used to be 90)

While I was waiting in line, it seems walmart is really cracking down. Somebody came in with a sealed black ops for 360 with the receipt, they had to open it up to make sure it wasn't a resealed copy.
