On to the movies!!

All the King's Men
 An idealistic southern politician slowly becomes corrupted by the system. Starring Sean Penn, Jude Law and Kate Winslet.

Gridiron Gang
 The Rock plays a real-life coach at a youth detention camp determined to bring the inmates together in a football team.

 Flyboys
 James Franco plays an American pilot who joins the French military to fly against the Germans in World War I.

The Black Dahlia
 Josh Hartnett, Hilary Swank, Aaron Eckhart and Scarlett Johansson star in the mystery about a Hollywood murder.

Jackass: Number Two
 Johnny Knoxville and his original crew of reprobates do another round of pointlessly dangerous and disgusting stunts.

Everyone's Hero
 An animated tale of a boy crossing the country to return a very special baseball bat to his hero, Babe Ruth.

Jet Li's Fearless
 Jet Li stars as a Chinese martial artist chosen to represent his country in a competition against the best foreign fighters.

The Last Kiss
 A guy (Zach Braff) entering his 30s finds himself torn between his longtime relationship and an alluring younger woman.

The Covenant
 Four prep school students discover they possess supernatural powers and that an evil presence has been unleashed.

 
It's a tough week to call, most of this week's films are getting rather small releases (all around 1800 or less theatres, Flyboys has a few more I think) so the release numbers def. side with Jackass 2 and Gridiron Gang for the favorites.

As much as I loathe the thought of it I voted for Jackass 2. I really want to spit in the face and kill everyone involved with that waste of film, but the movie going public has never been an all around bright bunch and given the release numbers I think it will most unfortunately win out.
 
The Black Dahlia will win this weekend. I think just because of the cast, and the trailer for the movie is very enticing. In all though there are some really good flicks coming to the box office this weekend.

That's exactly what I thought last weekend, alas I was wrong. Though I personally get to go see it tomorrow night which I'm very happy about (rarely can I afford $18 for a movie date, let alone even have the oppertunity in the first week).
 
The R rating will hurt Jackass, but I expect the 17-25 crowd to go bananas for it. Jackass (12 million) over Gridiron Gang (7.5 million).
 
I'll take Jackass Number Two, Alex. Honestly, I so damn tired of all these football movies. I don't care if Gridiron Gang is based on a true story, it just seems like a dramatic spin on The Longest Yard.

I voted for Fearless, either because I'm going to see it or because I hate Jackass. Jackass will be limited with its R rating.

The fact that its rated R doesn't mean anything anymore. I remember the first one made a decent return at the box office. I saw it before it left theaters on a total whim and I actually really liked it. I guess its the sadist in me that finds joy in other people hurting themselves doing totaly stupid shit lol
 
I figured Jackass 2 would win, but I just didnt vote for it since I think it's stupid.

As I've said before, the masses have bad taste.
