As you can see in this thread there are plenty of people willing to write a thing or two. The problem is consistency. If you want volunteers you basically will be looking all the time to replace someone who vanished. Also people say they will wrtie but then when you ask them...suddenly they are too busy.
None of my sites are clones...they are either designed by me or a staff members. You gotta see my hard drives..I have 3 computers all full of odds and ends. It is important to keep backups and original image files in case you need to do something later.
I am always looking at new CMSs and scripts. I have a test site (won't name) that I install various scripts to test. I downloaded 3 just today even. Last night I ran into a cool rss feed from gametrailers.com and quickly plugged it into Gametour.com and also pspforums.com then I got nuts and redid the pspforums front page. I have another CMS installed for pspforums but I gotta find a template..or make one myself.
I am insane...if you really saw what I did every day (yes every day) you would freak out. I wake up at 8am and immediately hit my computer. I stop only to eat, shit, sometimes shower, and occassionally the wife drags me away for sex. I don't stop till about 1am...then I wake up and do it again.
I feel like that guy in that old commercial that displayed on his computer screen "you have reached the end of the internet"..god I wish that would happen for me. The internet is serious a drug for anyone with ADD. Sometimes I have 6-7 programs open and 20 browser windows. And I bounce between them as if I was mozart orchestrating an opera. Funny cuz that's my browser...Opera.
One day I expect the wife to bring friends over and start an intervention.
