What is up with keeping a flat brim and all the stickers and tags on baseball hats? It is the dumbest thing I've ever seen. Also, get off my lawn.
 
Old folks prefer a slightly rounded brim.

And they generally wear them propped up real high on their heads, too.
 
i went to buy a new sharks hat a few weeks ago... it was a pain in the ass because a lot of them were short flat brims, some of them not even the team colors. it was very annoying, luckily i found a good ol fashioned hat, but i dont like the style.

I want to know this as well. It does look ridiculous too.
 
People keep the tags and stickers so it looks like they got the hat for free... they're badass... And the way you where that flat brim hat on your head (whichever way you position/angle it) supposedly sends different messages about you, although I am not privy to that information. I've heard even gangs do this with certain hats.
 
its the brand what was it 50/50 or something. it was to show off the brand of the hat.. now its taken off and worn that way regardless of the brand.
 
It started with rapper Shyne wearing his hats to court (during the P.Diddy night club shooting in 1999) he kept the brim flat. Shit made it to the street. The New Era 51/50 hats are the ones you're thinking about.

Yea it has been around a while. In fact a few years ago some stupid rap group released a video where they kept the stickers on their cars. Now that's keeping it real everyone will know how many miles you get to the gallon.

The three pictures of that guy going to court? The last one (with the tan hat) makes him look like such a douche. Seriously, do you look at yourself before you leave the house? You're wearing a nice suit, why not match that with a nice Fedora? Instead, while attempting to look tough, you look like a complete moron.
