Brothers in Arms Hells Highway $29.99 at GS
Well, I called it.!
Please predict Far Cry 2's $30 price point oh wise one. For the sake of CAG.

Far Cry 2 seems to be worth 30 to me, I hope it hits it soon lol. Then again, I think Far Cry 2 sold pretty well so maybe it wont drop as fast.

Too lazy to go back 2 pages, but Amazon has it for $30 now. Not sure if perm. price drop or a sale but it started around midnight earlier today.

Yeah Far Cry 2 won't go down for a while I think. I saw the price of this on Amazon and thought to myself if many games will be lowered in price when everyone is a money crunch. I think people are going to be really picky with their purchases now.
calling this a fast price drop is an understatement especially since it went right past the $50 and $40 price range and right into $30. It only came out a month ago. Thats insane, even by ubisofts standards.

Either thats a glitch or they're trying to suck up as many holiday sales as possible in a tough market. A heck of a lot of good FPS have been released lately with more coming.
I think Ubisoft did a smart move since this holiday season is filled with triple A titles and games like Hell's Highway cannot compete against titles like Gears 2, Resistance 2, Call of Duty, ect. At a half price, they might move more inventory than with $60 price point.

i think its hard to cross compare the games like that. BIA has always been centered around making you feel like your playing a story ripped shamelessly from Band of Brothers. Its no Gears, and certainly no Resistance.

COD 5.... well its a treyarch abomination. Having played the beta its very much a mod of COD4 and i fully expect the single player to suck and be in no way realistic [anyone for a silenced thompson?] while realism is BIAs calling card. The one saving grace of COD 5 is its multiplayer which is a total rip off of COD 4 with some fresh maps. COD 5 loses out to BIA HH in the graphics department as well. No contest. Console gamers in general seem to be attracted to the 'bling' factor of a game rather easily.

BIA is one of those games you rent or buy, play through once enjoying the story, then immediately resell. The whole series has been like that. However they all havent have a 50% price cut in the 30 days.
