I love this game. I remember playing this with my cousin and we got to lvl 98 then my other cousin walked by, stepped on the cord and the game froze. There was much shouting and anger after that.
It's too bad I never got another chance to try to get to lvl 100, a few weeks later our house got robbed and the
thieves took our nes and all our games.

In the Bubble Bobble games the enemies get mad after you defeat others like them or you are very close to defeating the boss.
Bubble Bobble is really nice on all systems. I have the two Gameboy games if anybody is intrested in trading or wants to make me a offer.
Personally I like the Part 2 series. Where you can blow up extra big bubbles and they introduce new types of bosses and such. PLus you can fly around in the bubbles. Then the music and mini games.
