Bully scheduled for October; PS2-exclusivity likely

I really wish rockstar would stop doing things to drive the whole video game industry under. They made gta3, which was almost genius, so I tried to understand why they kept provoking ppl. I mean the hot coffee thing was just pure stupidity on their part. But come on, the only reason this game exists is because it will sell like hotcakes just because of the negative publicity in the sensationalist mainstream media. Which equates to more lawsuits, more congress meetings, more laws.

So I wish they would stop doing it now. Before buying video games with any level of violence at all will be the same as buying a firearm or hardcore pornography. And if it does, I will hold them totally responsible for fucking up the greatest form of entertainment ever.

No I agree though but they continue to do it because hatred and controversy make money. Its truly that simple. Think about rockstar back before GTA3 if they never made that game then they would porably be like 3DO or Activison. So they continue to do what made them famous. It was okay with me, but now its hurting the industry only because the gov't is eyeballing gaming.

Well, that's not all Rockstar is doing. Unless you think the table tennis game is controversial. But, year, those games seem to be their bread and butter. Hopefully they will branch out a bit more since I have enjoyed their games in the past (actually I've only played GTA 3-5 but I liked those).

I'm sure some free-thinker will come along to school me on how stealing cars isn't art. I've heard it before, in every form.

True but if you willing give the gov't fuel for their fire. Then its somewhat your part. I'm not saying its only Rockstar but they are the one the gov't eyeballs. And base what rockstar does as what the whole industry is doing.
