I find bum fighting disgusting. JackAss is one thing were they do it to themselves, but to take advantage of the poor and mentally unstable is outrageous. This should be made illegal, these people who make money off of it are slime and should be made an example of. If cock fighting, and dog fights aren illegal, this should be too. PLus I think its illgeal to have an unsanctioned fight.
Ah paternalism at its best. We should all sue McDonald's for making us fat too, right?
Exploit the poor. No one made them sign on the bottom line.
No one forced them to take the pay-off.
Screw the poor. They exist only to amuse me.

Ok buddy, u need to realize that when u have no money, u will do anything for money, and these people are getting taking advantage of because they are helpless. It seems u only care about yourself, that is quite sad. Care about your fellow man. Might grow as a person
Care about my fellow man? I am sad?
What is sad is how you speak down to others and suggest that you know better how they should or shouldn't live.
Right, they can do anything for money - and they choose this.
How magnanimous of you to decide what is right or wrong for them.
Any other changes you would like to make to the world while you are up, oh wise one?

CTL,
The only thing I don't think you're considering is that a vast majority of homeless people are mentally ill. They aren't normal people who are lazy or just had bad luck and happen to live on the street. Many can't be counted on to make decisions for themselves. While I admit that I would probably laugh if watching it, it's definately wrong.
Some people take offense to what Howard Stern does, which is sometimes bring homeless people into the studio and goof on them, ask them questions they can't answer. Even that I guess is borderline but it does make me laugh. But at least they're in a wam place and do get paid some money, even though they humiliate themselves somewhat. But violence is another story altogether.
