Bungie's next project revealed

I read about this in some gaming mag... it looks really fun. You can control the hands detached from your body, you can make others zombies... really great possibilities here.

OXM had a preview a couple of months back.

I agree, it looks very promising. I just want to wait for the final product though to see if they have met what I believe they can do. They story sounds very interesting also.

The game had a preview in one of GameInformer's issue.

The game looks really cool
I was happy to hear that they are going to release it on Xbox2, PC and Mac all at the same time.
I can't wait to get it.

Am I the only one that thinks that the halo engine is not gonna pull off a good 3rd person game. Not to mention one that you can detach your hands...... What happened to blowing the crap out of covenant

and didnt Bungie also develop a third-person piece of crap called ONI a few years ago too. I hate when people ride dicks cause of one game or one series(squaresoft anyone?)

I liked Oni, I will admit it wasn;t as great as Marathon or Myth but it was still really good. The only draw back that game had was it was designed for a controller and not a keyboad and mouse.

I dont think that this is made by bungie. i read that it is the executive producer of Halo 1. I think that is who it was. I might be wrong.

I actually kinda like Oni, it had great style. Could have been better though

1) This sa being produced by Wideload Games, not Bungie. Alex Seropian, founder of Bungie is the head of Wideload.

2) It uses the Halo engine under license.

3) Halo actually started as a thrid person perspective game. The difference is trivial in a properly designed engine as it just amounts to camera placement and control differences.

4) Oni has virtually nothing in common with Halo. It was produced by an entirely separate team within Bungie that remained in Chicago while the rest had moved to Washington State as part of Microsoft.

5) Anyone who thinks Square has no other successful products than Final Fantasy is grossly ignorant of the range of their products.

Because it's so fresh it has steam rising off of it.

Because it so much warmer inside than out.

Which reminds me. Outside of a dog, a man's best friend is a good book. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.
