Burger King giving away free Kinects every 15 minutes!

Welp, I was trying, my brother was trying (stuck in Saudi Arabia but playing from our home address here in the states), both of my sisters were trying, and even my mom and dad were trying. A month down the drain, nothing to show for it :(

Congrats to everyone who did win.. and a 'not congrats' to all of the hackers using botnets to win, there is absolutely no fun in that (not to mention that's cheating). At least so many fellow CAG members won, congrats to all of you!
 
I doubt anyone ran a botnet for this one... Way to expensive to get all those captchas resolved and no guarantee of winning. From what I have seen posted, the bots were incurring $20 to $50 in captcha solving fees, sometimes over the span of several days, and still not winning anything. With that many people playing, and the lag required to solve the ReCaptchas, there was an extremely high chance someone else would snipe the win in between bot submissions.

And, based on the many CAGs and SlickDealers that won, the bots really didn't make out that well... At least not after the first week's changes were made.

Still waiting to see if there was any additional post-processing implemented that may have disqualified all of the bot wins before they ship. Hopefully they will start shipping soon... Nothing yet today. Ugh!
 
I was hoping they'd start shipping today, it seemed like the logical day. Hopefully its either here or on its way by the 5th. I'm really excited to trade in the one I have for a bunch of the games I haven't been able to afford all year.

Yea, the 250GB has a Glossy finish, unlike the 4GB with it's matte finish.

I think the glossy one looks cooler, but not worth $100 more.

The only difference other than the color is the drive bay in the 4GB doesn't come with a hard drive already in it.

Nah, I'm keeping the Kinect. I probably never would have bought one, but for free I'll gladly hang on to it.

Nah... He is keeping his nice new Slim that came with the Kinect bundle...

He is going to trade in his old white 'prone to RRoD' box and get some games for it.

Well then... Great job A Gamer. Now at least we can get some sort of idea as to how many are expecting their consoles, and perhaps judge which consoles won in a time frame will be sent out, should they send them out in batches rather than all at once.
 
I see some of the early winners have gotten their prizes, and knew when they were shipped. I don't really feel like searching through 75 pages worth of posts, so can someone fill me in on if these early winners were notified of the shipping before actually receiving the prize, via email? Or was it just "Got my package today, looks like it was shipped a week ago."

They got emails with tracking information. No one after 11/05 has gotten their prize yet. I won on 11/06.
