"Burn After Reading" BluRay not work in PS3?

So I had this movie in my NetFlix queue and I finally got it early this week.. anyway they sent it to me and it turns out it was unreadable (wouldn't even show up in the Video column on the PS3)
So I made sure the disk was not scratched, etc. And put it back in and after a few times, the icon finally showed up under Video and it loaded... then crashed back to the title screen with generic error:
The video cannot be played. (80029940)

So I report it bad disk Netflix sends me another copy, and the 2nd copy still does the same thing.

I know it's not my PS3 as the Netflix streaming disk works, and other bluray movies play fine (Zombieland, Kick-Ass, Run Lola Run).

Anyone else have an issue with this particular movie?

nope, i bought it used from somewhere, played fine, wasn't as good as i hoped it'd be

Hmm thanks guys.. it's just odd both disks from netflix were like that.. I guess I can rent it from them on DVD.

yea- i have watched this on my Phat, MGS 80gig. The only movie I've ever had a hard time with was "Air America". I'm pretty sure it was the disc, but i couldn't identify any defects.

actually, I got 2 copies of burn after reading too. Same exact problems.

Hmm, I'd recommend actually skipping the movie anyways, but I never had any problems with the bluray on my slim. It really is a waste of a couple hours...

lol well a buddy of mine is going to bring his slim over and we are gonna try it on his. I have the 80 gig phat model that came out right when they were bundling with the dualshock 3.

right i got your answer for you i did this and it worked on mine..im pretty sure it was actually the same movie and was from netflix

what i did was
settings>display settings>Y Pb/Cb Pr/Cr Super White (HDMI) and change that setting it could either be on or off and you set it to off i believe or whatever the opposite it is at now...

Thanks for the replies guys.. lol well I already sent the 2nd copy back to netflix, didn't request another.. maybe I'll get the DVD at some point or wait until it streams or catch it on basic cable.

Interesting fix SnorE, didn't think that would work. I guess I'll try that the next time I get a movie that won't play lol
