I'd like to get Burnout 3 next week, since I love this series and did enjoy the demo, but Since its a more low profile release, what do you think are the chances that we'll see it price drop very quickly? I want to trade in SpiderMan 2, so I'd get around $30 at gamecrazy..

Whats the vibe on this game, bite or wait for a price drop? I'll be getting fable next week no matter what, so I could go either way. SpiderMan2 won't hold this trade value for long though, i don't think.(It's more trade value than I paid for it)

Can I borrow your time machine when you get back?

Oh, it's next week. nevermind. I'll at least trade in spiderman tomorrow.. Work and school have removed any sense of time I used to have.

The point still stands.. Anyone else think this is one of those $50 for a month, $30 after that games?

That's odd. I usually don't know what day of the week it is unless I have to be somewhere, like class.

Sorry, just giving you a hard time because I'm effin' drooling for this game too and I can't wait until it comes out.

Even if it does drop, my impression is that it's going to be so outstandingly fun you won't care. Every preview I've read so far says how addictive it is. Two great magazine reviews so far: EGM gave it a 9.17/10, and OXM gave it a 9.3 out of 10, and their only negative was they thought the soundtrack sucked and they thought the lack of being able to save replays was questionable.

No. It's an EA game so it's going to be freaking $50 until like a month before Burnout 4 comes out.

It sure looks like it will be worth $50, but come on, who pays $50 for games anymore? You have to at least use the GGC or Xbox live coupon at Best Buy, then of course there's the codes for the EA store or the various trade-in deals at EB and such. There's also rumors of a buy2 get 1 free coming up at TRU soon, but those are just rumors and that sale may not happen (at least not anytime soon).

This will be the first game in a LONG time that i'm going to drop $50 for ($45 with GGC+tax). It definately looks worthwhile and i've had to pry the demo away from myself to make the wait for it more tolerable.

I hope the game is like Freedom Fighters, and drops down to 30 fast. But knowing me when it drops to 30 I will say "just wait till it's 20...".

This will probably do business on the level of SSX3, and that only fairly recently dropped to $20 (it came out last November).

Yeah, I have a EA coupon...so it would cost me about $40 shipped. But not sure if I want it THAT bad since I have never played any of the BurnOut games
