Not sure what to think about this one. I like the idea but the execution could be a problem. Here is hoping for the best..

I think the hardest part is going o be keeping the graphics good enough to give the game the high sense of speed that Burnout is known for. Definitely a game I'm going to keep my eye out on, and one that'll I'll probably pick up even if it flops, as long as there's a crash mode.

I'm not too hyped for this game. I love Burnout 3 to death (I've put almost 30 hours into it- without live, and I usually don't play games for that long.) But this game just looks...blah. I don't think it could be as intense as the console versions.

This is the same reason I'm going to pass.

this is great news for ds owners who like conventional games, and dont own a psp

...im sure both of them are thrilled ^^

This is not exactly news, but the screens are new. They're not bad, but the PSP and console version display the sense of speed much more effectively, so I don't seeing this version being as good as the others.

Well...it sorta looks like Need For Speed 2 for the DS. If it plays anythin like Nfs2 then there may be problems. I played the hell out of NFS2 but thats only because it was one of the 1st games I had. If you own a PSP then there's no point on this DS game, but if you need a fix for speed then I'd wait for the reviews. EA prices their games expensive anyways. All their DS games are $40.

What a horrible idea. I just don't see how this will work. And yes, I prefer the DS over my PSP, and I love the Burnout series...but this is such a bad idea and waste of development time. Who wants this? This just doesn't make sense, and I want more games for my DS, but this is just wasteful.

Ok from my experience the Legends game has slight graphical problems running on the PSP. I can't imagine what would happen with DS version.

Wow, this could be good. Hopefully it will have the good graphics though to the max of what the DS is capable of. Defiantly a game to consider picking up.

Ill pass on this, not a big racing fan but this is one of the few games id rather own on PSP(am i really saying this 0-0). Coming from what EA has done so far with the stylus, i think you can expect the game to be pretty much style-less.
Meh, just meh.

The should bring GT Advance to the DS, that would be more fitting.

Burnout is a console game at heart.
I agree. The signarutre crashes just lose something when taken down to such a small screen.
I was a bit skeptical about this title but it is looking solid

I'm buying it... I was very skeptical at first, especially seeing how blah NFSU2 looked on the DS, but the recent screens and videos have really sold me on the game. I don't have a PSP and I don't plan on buying one just for a couple games, so I'll be more than happy to pick up this version as long as the controls hold up.

I hate how EA half-asses all their DS titles. All they try to do is force the same game design on every platform, but the DS is so different that it doesn't work when they force a PS2 design on it.. but of course they can't spend the time to make a unique DS game that uses its features... That's CRAZY!

The sizzling sparks and ear-crunching sound effects and the beautiful slow-mo of the console versions will be toned down dramatically (or non-exististent) in this DS version, and so, it loses nearly 80% of its charms.

Who needs another mediocore EA port with Mario Kart DS coming out later this month?
