Burnout Revenge $33.96 at DVD Planet; $39.99 at Amazon (Target)

Critereon is the only company I like out of EA. In fact, I wouldn't mind if every facility BUT the Critereon one exploded and then they continued to make great games. Sure EA helps them with funds and what not, and for that reason they're probably where they are today now. But EA sucks hard wang. Critereon is just genius when it comes to great games development.

DVDPlanet.com (aka KenCranes.com) has the Xbox and PS2 versions available for pre-order for $33.96, with free Media Mail shipping on orders $25 or more. Last month they had them listed even cheaper ($27.97). Here are the links (jump on this before they raise the price again):

FYI: I ordered from them before without any problems.

I like EABig, EASports, EAGames is meh.

Be careful with DVD Planet. They are reliable -- but with NCAA FOOTBALL 2006, they didn't ship most consumers' games for a MONTH, and had no intention of doing so either...and told nobody until they had ordered (I believe a lot of us cancelled for that reason).

I'm wondering if they're not getting some price break from EA, but with the caveat of not actually shipping it until the first 30 days had gone by. Just a heads-up!

I followed up with them via email regarding shipment of my Burnout Revenge pre-order ($27) and they advised that the item is being processed at their warehouse and will be shipping soon. They indicated that my Burnout Legends pre-order ($34) won't be processed until at least 10/04/05.

I preordered burnout revenge from dvd planet and asked when they were going to ship and they said it is out of stock for at least two weeks. I would look elsewhere.

Just a quick update. I received an e-mail today from DVD Planet informing me that my Burnout Revenge (PS2) pre-order has shipped. My order status hasn’t been updated yet on their site, and they still list the game as “coming soon” (9/20).

I pre-ordered my copy back in July, when it was listed for $27.97 w/free shipping. Not bad at all. I thought I would be waiting at least another week before it shipped.

Booyaa, mine has shipped as well! The site claims that they ship items early in order to arrive at your door on the release date. Since they seem to think it comes out on 9/20, I suppose this is consistent with their logic.

Mine shipped as well. Too bad they don't have tracking on it.

^ When did you order yours? I order Burnout: Revenge just this morning. I've received confirmation that my order was processed but no shipping confirmation yet.
