Total shocker... I remember this game being announced and having a $39.99 price tag, and I wrote it off as just being a cheap cash in.

The game now retails for $19.99 MSRP, and is shipping tommorrow, to hopefully be in stock at Gamestop / EB on Friday. Sadly, I can't find it on Best Buy's website, so no $5 coupon goodness this time.

Luckily I didn't open the Snood 2 I ordered off of Best Buy's website, I will GLADLY take it back and get the real thing instead.

The game looks to use BOTH screens AND use the stylus!!!!

Yeah, this one's on my list to pick up. Funny thing is, EB lists it at 49.99

For $20 I'll definitely pick it up. Can't go wrong at that price, but I'm still hoping that BB will carry it.

:) amazing news.

I told myself I wasn't going to buy anything else this year after Animal Crossing: WW, but for $19.99, I might just have to pick this one up the minute I see it.

Bust a Move DS is sleeper hit title...... and its on collection list too....thought i'll wait couple months to see the price drop on it but now.........no way i am going wait to let this $ucker fly off my hand ;)

My DS going love meeehh ;)

Thanks OP, I love BAM for my DC. It says "With a multiplayer mode allowing five people to compete via the Nintendo DS wireless network, this Bust-a-Move will prove to be the ultimate battle party game." Does this mean the WI-FI network like Mario Kart and AC or is it only local play?

Oh well I went ahead and ordered one with the freeshipall code. They don't charge tax either for some reason (strange because there are GS's in Ohio). I got it for $19.99 out the door.. thanks again OP

local play only
Best buy has magazines with $5 off DS games, so you can get this for only $14.99!
what magazine are you talking bout ?
what magazine are you talking bout ?
I think it was called the Holiday Game Guide, i threw it out, otherwise i'd take a pic. They had them on the cardboard stands that they normally use for their magazines, at the store here, they were located in between the dvd's/games (as they also do have a magazine for dvd's, not sure what coupons are in there). The DS coupon is good for up to 3 games, so go pick up this, Animal Crossing & Mario Kart! lol.

Also they had a 360 magazine with coupons for $5 off most of the launch titles.

I'm sure BB will have it. They only have 4 DS games on their website, yet have a couple dozen in the store.

Was that December Nintendo Power coupon good for $5 off up to 3 games at Best Buy, or was that another vendor/product specific?

I swear....if Nintendo somehow makes a glut of fun/good games like this (with equivilent prices) on Revo i may not need another home system...
EB shows this as being released in March now, looks like it may have been delayed.
I was thinking of getting this, but EB also lists the price as being $49.99 now. I'm thinking that someone screwed up here.

Gamestop is listing the price as $19.99, with the 12/9 date. It is still on site as a preorder, so no information is given if the local stores even have this in stock.

http://www.gamestop.com/product.asp?product_id=180093

Amazon is listing the price as $19.99 as well, shipping in 2-3 days.

Anyway, I will wait until tomorrow's sale to look for this, but would not make a special trip. If anyone finds this at their local store, please let us know.

Great deal at $20! This game is pretty much guaranteed to hold it's value. Just about all Bust A Move games do.
I might have to pick this up since it is under $20, thanks.
not after tax you stupid asshole.

nah, im just messing with you....................

From GS link from above post:

The DS version features 500 puzzles to solve, and uses the handheld's Wi-Fi capabilities to support up to five players. The new slingshot system actually sees gamers pulling bubbles back on a type of rubber band, with each end held by one of the cute reptilian hosts, Bub and Bob.

Another Wi-Fi game sweet.

It was for Best Buy exclusively and was good on all system games and accessories, if I'm not mistaken, though there was a similar one for a select group of Namco games at TRU.

If you go to Best Buy, be sure to pick up the holiday guide with another $5-off-of-3 coupon. It's only good for DS games and expires on 15 January, but with so many good DS titles out right now, it's pretty usable.

Also, be careful to check the incompetent cashiers at Best Buy... they only rang up the $5 off of one game for me the first time and had to do a correction.
Anyone luck out and find this yet? Checked Kmart, Target, Circuit City and Gamecrazy...no dice
I was at Best Buy tonight and they didn't have it. I'm going to head back tomorrow and see if they have it in the back.

On a DS-related note, is Mario and Luigi on sale in store at 29.99? The tag said 34.99 but the website says 29.99.

Mario and Luigi is on sale for 29.99 in store and after the $10 off coupon only makes it $21 with tax, which is a great deal.

Crap. Nice of it to be marked properly in the store or in the weekly circular. Looks like I'm heading back tomorrow...

Thanks!

I saw it at frys in westminster. I was going to pick it up but didn't because even though its only $20, thats still full price so i'll wait for a sale.

One thing about it though is that its dual screen and the gap between screens may hurt the experience. That gap is just too big for games where you are shooting from one screen to the other (sonic, metroid pinball). I'm not saying its unplayable, but it sure can be annoying sometimes.

we got it in our store (TRU) yesterday. about 5-6 copies, and yup rings up $19.99. I'm hoping to get it over the weekend. TRU tends to carry a lot of Majesco stuff, so it's always safe to check there first.

Yea, I remember that nanostray was relatively hard to come by, but I think that my local TRU actually carried it. TRU is probably the place to check for bust a move as well.
