+1 Toys R us is worse than gamestop on their pricing most of the time. Sometimes they have good sales or deals, but most of the time.. theyre pretty damn terrible. If this included DS games and stuff i may have done ghost trick and something else

I still have my giftcard from buying Portal 2 and Mortal Kombat that expires this weekend so this is coming at the right time for me.

Count me as another hoping this works on pre-orders. Looking at the website, I only see one current game listed that I want.

I guess I have to be a TRU defender here but TRU's sales have been good from time to time. Sometimes they'll offer AAA games for near $40 after gift cards and coupons. For new games, TRU has GS beaten period. I'm sure most members here would agree with me on that. I've gotten lots of new games from TRU on Day 1 but I can't recall ever doing that with GS for many months now. For that matter, I don't recall GS ever having 40% off sales.

The last TRU sale that was any good imo was that two newer games for $50 typo one they had. To get games like FEAR 3, LA NOIRE and Mortal Kombat for $25 apiece was insane.

That was my deal of the year....until Best Buy one upped them by putting the Prestige Edition of BLOPS for PS3 down to $14.99 on their website.;)

Yeah and when MK came out TRU had it on sale for as low as $30 after just 2 weeks of release.

Best Buy had Black Ops Prestige Ed. for $14.99? Damn, I must have missed that one :cold:

So did I. I went upstairs to grab a bite to eat for dinner and came back to find the thread for it and that it was now out of stock online.

Then again, the shipping that TRU charges for items is kinda ridiculous at times, so I probably wouldn't have even bought it.:whistle2:#

:ps3:Catherine is STILL coming up as ineligible for this promotion. Yet :ps3:Homefront IS coming up as eligible.

Catherine is IN STOCK and NOT listed as a pre-order(that I can see anyway), yet it's still not working for it.

Oh well. I have a copy inbound from Amazon anyway.
 
Will this work on super band bundles? And how long before TRU claims it was a hacker putting up a fake coupon? :lol:

Even though they claim it was a mistake they 2 for $50 was the best deal this year when you had blk ops, mortal kombat, fear 3, brink, portal 2, and la noire to choose from was amazing. Toys R Us should get a cheapassgamer award for that hehe
 
This sale is nothing to get excited about if you want new releases. Buy two $59.99 games, and the cost per game comes out to $48 each.
 
Online only? :whistle2:( This would be a decent deal for me if it was for in-store. I would so pick up Uncharted 2 GOTY and InFamous with this sale, they would both have to be $20 before the promotion kicked in though.
