At $3.33 each, select titles aren't so bad. Still, most at $3.33 are still bad.

I saw Atari and Civ3 (you mentioned it) which aren't too bad.

I can't imagine these selling at $9.99.

should of picked up hoyle card games instead of dinner dash since there are better dinner dashes out there.

Was thinking about picking up 3 more but Just cant see spend 20 on 6 games. And with the 8.96 CC thing starting sunday, i would rather have those games instead of 3 more pc games i probally wouldnt play much.

twistingo is on bigfish games for free if it wasnt i would of grabbed that

and heard back reviews on the card game about memory leaks slowing pcs down to a crawl.

tempted

JEWEL QUEST
HOyal card game
but no 3rd game that i really want and Jewel quest isnt really worth 3.33 since 7 wonders is almost the same game

I think i just turn off my pc and hope this sale goes away so i dont blow another 10 LOL
i believe the painkiller special edition has less levels than the actual game
From Wikipedia:
The Painkiller Special edition has slightly different features which include 12 levels from the original game. No multiplayer was included in this version. It does, however, show its award winning features on the front case like PC Gaming World Game of the Year, Game Informer game of the month and Gamespy's editor's choice.
By special did they mean it's like one of those kids that has to wear a helmet and goes to "special" classes?

Thanks for the heads up. I got a few casual games for my wife to enjoy.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 / RollerCoaster Tycoon 2: Time Twister

Zuma Deluxe

Diner Dash
thx

got barbie the explorer
barbie as rapunzel
and dora the explora

hope they work for vista.
lol are you serious
lol are you serious
yeah... theres been problems with softwear and vista.

I've added three to my cart, but it has only taken one off. Is it dead or did I mess something up?
yeah... theres been problems with softwear and vista.
I think you missed the point...

I'd advise not getting the Painkiller: SE game, as it doesn't even include the full Painkiller game! For a few dollars more get the Painkiller: Gold Edition from Steam for $9.95 instead, it includes the full game plus the expansion pack (which includes 10 levels) if you're really interested in the game.

For $3.33 a piece I bought a game for my mom (Ultimate Solitaire: 1000 Unique Games) and a couple, probably crappy, games for myself (Smoking Guns: Shooting Gallery and Nibiru: Age of Secrets). ^_^

Worked for me:

Bejeweled: 9.99
Zuma Deluxe: 0.00
Game of Life: 0.00
Total: 9.99 (no tax???)

Scheduled for Standard delivery
Estimated Arrival: 1/17-2/1/2008

Not sure why my total is 9.99 when it showed up as 10.xx earlier.

Oh well, I have the print out. ^__^

It still works however, when adding Freedom Force vs. The 3rd Reich, this game in particular from my experience makes it not work.

I would bite for some games for my step-mother, but recently, the games she's tried buying don't work for Vista. So I'm not gambling there anymore.
It still works however, when adding Freedom Force vs. The 3rd Reich, this game in particular from my experience makes it not work.
Indeed. I posted earlier, thinking this deal was dead, because I had FF in my cart. It's one of the few games I would actually want to play on that list, so it's too bad it won't work.
i had 4 in my cart and it took 2 off still.

anyway, 3 games, free ship, 10.50. Thanks OP.
Right... I meant any more beyond the first 3 will show as regular price. So if you buy 3 or 4 or 5 or 100 in one order, you will get 2 for free.

Unless it's one of the broken one... Freedom Force isn't working and now I also found that Barbie Explorer isn't (I was getting it for my little sister)

DEAD!!! Or seems like it.

Although, I just removed ONE of the games from my cart and it gave me the second one for free, without having to buy 2 to get one free.

EDIT: Confirmed, this is DEAD now.

You sure? Still works for me. Try 3x CivIII and see what you get.
You might be trying with a "broken" game.
Or I guess technically it would be a "working" one and all the others that come out as buy1get2 are "broken"... but you get my meaning.

Well, it worked prior for me, with Diner Dash, Roller Coaster Tycoon 2(and the expansion pack in the same package) and some Burger game which I only chose to round out the triple pack.

OK, It still works. I found the offending game. It was the Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 double pack that was messing up the deal.

I ordered Diner Dash, Crazy Burger and the Atari 80 game pack for a grand total of $5.29(after using a $5 RZ certificate online to knock another $5 off the total). I tried site to store or just store pickup, but my local store doesn't do that I guess.

Thanks OP, picked up a bunch of "busy body" games to put on the laptop to piss away time rather than talk to people - they tend to suck.

Got:

axis & allies
hoyle card games
monopoly 3
bejeweled
chessmaster 9000
the game of life
scrabble
risk II
zuma deluxe

for $30 + $1.80 tax it is hard to complain.

edit: I chose in store pickup for all the items, on 3 separate orders. Who knows, if they're moving slow when I go pick them up I could be getting each order for free ($10 off your order if it takes the helper monkies > 1 minute to retrieve your order, right?)

Picked up

i figure i would rather have card games instead of dinner dash and since there is no way to cancell orders i had to put in another order

Hmm, I've usually found the whole Value Title series to be pretty disappointing, but there are a few here that catch my eye. Think I might give Civ 3 a try, now I just need to figure out what else I want to play.

Do Monopoly 3 and Risk II have CD-keys for their non-hotseat multiplayer or will a single copy work on multiple computers? Those might be good games to relax with at a LAN, but I really don't want to have to buy 4 or 5 of each just so every person can play on their own computer when I don't even know whether anyone else would be interested in it.

I saw the deal on SD and placed two orders for $20 plus tax total.

I bought painkiller (regretting it now after what you all mentioned about this game), Sudoku master (gift), Bejeweled, the print shop 20 (wanna be photoshop), mahjohngg (gift), and hoyle slots/video poker (gift) all for in-store pickup.
I think you missed the point...
Some people actually have children on this site and don't go around using words like "nOOb".

Or an unhealthy obsession w/ Dora.

Thanks OP!

Picked up:
Diner Dash
Roller Coaster Tycoon 2
Crazy Burger

all for $10.69 shipped!(it takes some tinkering with combinations for Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 to work, so keep trying!)

i doubt anyone gets them free

its 1 min after the people put the order number into the computer. To get around this what they do is . Ask for you number go in back and look around for it , then come back with your stuff and then start the counter.

really cant complain cause i was in an out probally 2 mins after stepping up.

i wonder if i got the right game

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...Y?skuId=8043244&type=product&id=1157068277712

the one they gave me was in a big box and had a 19.99 sticker on it

Includes more than 30 classic card games, from solitaire to seven-card stud

is sku the bar code??? if so

ONLINE SKU: 8043244
BOx 05382 14290

so it seems i got a better make WOOO

my box says over 150 games???

glad i did instore pickup on this one.

I'd have tried for in store pickup and I did try for it, but it listed the games unavailable for pickup at my local stores.

But for $10.59 I picked up:

Diner Dash
Crazy Burger(still can't find anything out about this game, but it's for my friends sister anyway)
Atari Collection(80 games for free, why not?)

Best part is, I used my $5 RZ cert I had sitting on their RZ site and paid only $5.29 or so out of pocket. I don't know why it knocked off an additional 30 cents and I don't care, since I got them for even cheaper.

There was a way this morning that if you couldn't find 3 games you wanted, you could BOGO, but I wonder if they fixed that.

entire thing credit goes to slickdeals. this is where i even found out about the deal

i had to download a new windows installer to make the card game work.

They did make a mistake ... they gave me the 2007 (2008) verison )

The BUY 1 get 2 free deal was

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...games&lp=2&type=product&cp=1&id=1157068277712

They gave me

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage...games&lp=1&type=product&cp=1&id=1188561247860

so i got a 19.99 game that just came out

OCT 10 2007 instead of 2006....

i did some research and crazy burger sounds very bad ...a poor mans rip off of dinner dash

Sorry about that; I guess I had the same idea before it was posted/edited here (the in-store pickup is the only thing I am referring to I learned about the deal here on CAG from your original post). Very good of you to make sure credit went were credit was due (slickdeals in this case), it is a virtue I hope we all practice here on CAG. Thank you.
