So apparently customers in the United Kingdom will recieve 10 free games if they purchased a new PSP go after April 1st. And the choices can be heavy-hitting new titles like GTA Chinatown or LittleBigPLANET. That is anywhere from $150-$300 in new games.

It is frustrating to see customers in the US get left out in the cold. If the PSP go was a blockbuster in America, I could see why Sony would decide not to offer this deal in the United States. But with the PSP go on life support in their biggest market, one would think they would take the necessary steps to create interest HERE.

I'm especially bitter because I've had to re-purchase games I already own on UMD.

Does anyone know how we can get the corporate e-mail address for Sony's US marketing president, or perhaps the corporate e-mail address for the gentlemen named in the article: SCE UK sales director Mark Howsen?

Really Sony, Really!?

Was going to offer something but this sums up my feelings right now.
I'm especially bitter because I've been had to re-purchase games I already own on UMD.

Wait. Didn't Europe already receive free games at the PSP go launch?
They received a couple games, yes.

in the US you get a free ass fuck for buying one! :D

srsly, what was the point of this thing!!!! especially at that launch price. It's freaking hilarious because I work at a retailer and people ask me whats the differences and embarrasing enough we have a PSP display of games. Theres downloadable cards for Gran Turismo right next to the UMD of Gran Turismo with a $15 dollar difference, im like uh....you can pay more for your games or pay less? lol. ok not that simplistic, but srsly, just SRSLY wtf.

To keep publishers and developers from abandoning the system.

People in Europe (especially the UK) pay a lot more for the PSPGo. Close to $400. That's why they get free games.

And the point of the Go was to make a PSP that was actually portable. It's like half the size of a PSP, so you can actually carry it in a pocket without tipping over.

The PSP go has been about 150-170 GBP (or $245) for several months now. Amazon UK currently has it for that price.

I think we'll see something announced for America at E3 but it will probably just be a price drop $20-$80, 1-3 free games, or something like that.
