In the offer, customers can purchase an 15.6" HP notebook that includes an Intel Core 2 Duo, 6GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, and wireless N technology and a Wii console for a total of $849.98 after $350 instant savings.

I agree, I've got the same thing and it's been running strong for a year and a half. It sucks that tech prices are always dropping, of course: mine only has 4gb ram and a 320gb hard drive, and no wireless N. I'm sure you could get even better specs now for around $1000. Well, ces't la vie.

And I like my Wii, too. I don't play it nearly as much as the others, but I like the first party games. Super Paper Mario + Pikmin ftw!

Anyway, clearly this bundle is mostly for college students who don't need alot of horsepower and think the Wii is "SO FUN ZOMG!!!"

Also, you can use a program like pcdecrapifier to remove all the factory installed junk. There's another one I saw listed in a magazine who's name escapes me for the moment...
