Hmmm...too bad i refuse to buy anything used at EB/GS. I still can't believe they want $120 for a used DS Lite...

That's a real good deal since there isn't a restriction on price.

Now might be the time to rebuy the DS. It doesn't have to be the DS lite you buy either.

Though, I would give up these deals in a sec, if we could just get some more B2G1's going.
Damnit, I thought this was buy 1 ds game get 1 free. This is worthless.
Hardly worthless. If you were looking to buy a system, getting a free $30 game (or whatever amount), is hardly a worthless deal.

are you sure there aren't any price restrictions for the free game. i know that it's more then likely that the free game needs to be 20 dollars or lower to be free. like toysrus, they often have these free game offer with purchase of a ds, but you're restricted to a certain selection or to a certain price point [price point is typically 20 dollars or less].

Good deal, but nothing can beat what I paid for mine.

Deal #1
Got a DS from CC for $130 on a Saturday. The next day, Sunday, they were offering a free case, so I went and got my case retail value $9.99. The next week Sunday Target had the DS at $120. So I go to CC to have them price match it. I was ready to return the case. In the end they gave me $11.?? back and I got to keep the $9.99 case. Its as if the DS costed me $110,

Deal #2
So I was in the market for a brighter screen GBA:SP. I go to GS to sell my 1st edition GBA:SP. With a coupon I was gonna get $50 for my GBA:SP. Then I notice they had the trade in the GBA:SP and get a new DS for $100 deal going on I got that. In the end they gave me $60 for my GBA:SP(GS?EB sells their SPs for $60) and I was able to get a new DS for $76.29.

Also yesterday I bought the recently released 2-disk Duck You Sucker for $1.99 and the 2-disk Batman Begins for $3.99.

Good Stuff

Free USed game when u purchase USED DS. It's horrible deal ever. You can pickup New & Nice DS system this week at Target for $120. Also, tons good DS games on clearance at FYE and Kmart :)

Doesn't say so on the coupon. That might change if you get in there but there shouldn't be. That kind of shocked me also. I was execting it to say $19.99 or less or something.

Yeah. What a horrible deal. Getting a like new DS lite (since you CAN pick the one you want) and any used game you want from the store. Let's say for the purpose of this deal, Advance Wars DS.

$120 + Tax at Gamestop with this coupon.

$120 at Target for the system plus another $29.99 for the game at Gamestop (doubt you can find it new anywhere) if you want the game right away.

$120 or $150. What a horrible deal

boooo hissss boooo hissss boooo hissss

but thanks for the ad...helps if you've got store credit, otherwise

boooo hissss boooo hissss boooo hissss

I'd consider it but because the main reason for me getting a DS is Phantom Hourglass, I doubt they'd have them used just yet.

IF you come by a used red/black ds lite, then this is an awesome coupon to have. keep one in your pocket just in case players

After seeing the new screens on the new ds lites, this actually seems like a decent deal if you can secure an older ds lite in good shape. The older screens are far superior to the new ones Nintendo settled on to cut costs.

What do you mean? What's the difference?

The Gamestop near me had 4 used Black DS Lites, all in perfect condition a few days ago. I already got a used white DS from there a few weeks ago (with coupon and trade), and its in such good condition, I could care less.

I just got a new ds lite(the red and black version) and i dont see any difference for the screen than the ds lite i used to have, but sold last year.

i am a little surprised that people are trading in their red ds lites so fast. I mean, what is the point of buying it if you are just going to trade it right back in?

Thank OP i picked up a black ds lite and pokemon diamond for 119.99. sweet deal even the clerks there didnt know about it and where talking about putting certain games on the side. Oh and the ds lite I got was in prefect condition.

Newer screen issues:
Poor viewing angle
Viewing angle on screens doesn't match in the clamshell position
Ghosting
Yellow tint on lower screen
Lower screen not as sharp as earlier ds's - looks fuzzy

I'm guessing some yields may be better than others but the Crimson/Black ds I tried was abysmal compared to my launch ds lite. If it's your first ds lite you may not notice as much but going from an older model to a newer one was a definite downgrade in screen quality and caused me eye fatigue very quickly. Tilting the screen just a little bit caused the top screen to go dark and the lower screen to whitewash out. And the ghosting was very noticeable.

Very disappointed in Nintendo on their quality control on the latest batches of ds lites, at least on the unit I tried. Just in time for Christmas too. They need a price correction. More like an $89 product than a $129.

Here's an article.
