if your a member of gamefly its a great deal since it knocks 10 bucks off all games. you can get new release games as low as 25 bucks

I feel the same way. This seems like such a good deal and I keep thinking that there should be better things to order with it, but so far I haven't really found anything. I don't need an extra Xbox 360 controller (and in any case they've raised the price) and the Xbox Live vision camera isn't available. You have to pay shipping on most everything else. It's kind of frustrating. I just hope they do keep the deal going until the end of the month. Something's bound to come up.

Woo-hoo! Just got my Seven Samurai. This set is sweet! Luckily the set was in mint condition, even though it was packed in a bubble mailer :shame:. I can't wait to revisit this film.
 
Ordered the GBA Castlevania Double Pack after that guy said he did in the thread. Then I pre-ordered Phoenix Wright 2 from CDUni for ~$23 shipped. Hopefully I'm done with this godforsaken sale.
 
I got everything from BUY.com already....nice deals. The camera is nice. They shipped EVERYTHING seperate...and I had 3 orders. They shipped a DVD in a cardboard/bubble mailer type. The DVD was a little bent on a corner (Little Mermaid), but it looks fine now.

Well I got my Vision Cam and my 360 Wireless Controller in the mail. claim 7-9 days shipping. took about 4 days tops for me. No damage to either, bothw ork perfectly fine. Trying to keep myself from ordering more. lol
 
I really thought I wouldn't get anything, but I ended up getting a pair of Steel Sound H5V2 headset, since my old head set (Edimensional AudioFX) died and my current headphone with no mic (Altec Lansing AHP721i) hurts my ear really bad.

Hell, 10 bcuks off and another 30 dollar rebate. 30 bucks after tax is fine by me

Tthough I did get the Altec for free from a screw up. I also bought it from buy along with an Audify 2 ZS platinum, they chargde me three times, and refunded me three times. That plus 100 dollar rebate (which came last month) = ultimate win

The hell is going on? I got emails from both google and Buy.com saying my order was shipped. I decided to check up on it and found out that it was never recorded in my order history, and when I type in the order number it says something along the lines of 'we can't find info for this order'......

I checked my bank account and it says 10/02/06 GOOGLE*BUY COM $45.99, so it was definitely charged. I assume it's on the way and might even be here tomorrow, but this is definitely kind of disturbing..... hell there's even an order for a WAP that I apparently got almost a year ago, but not this recent on that was just done a week ago :/

The emails are a bit off. I got an email saying my items were sent...then a few days later i got another email for another item i bought (same day as the first two) saying it was shipped out. Then...a few days after that, all 3 of my packages arrived :)
 
Well that makes sense since they ship from different warehouses.... can you check the status of your order? I'm starting to get nervous here since you said the only thing I can trust is a bit off LOL....

BTW, I've been wondering this a long time.... how are the games you get when you buy from Gamefly? They say they're guaranteed and apparently the manual/case aren't used (so I imagine they're in a very nice condition), so I don't see anything to warrant the crazy low prices except for maybe a Gamefly sticker on the discs......
 
I've bought games from GameFly in the past when they had a sale and they were in great condition. I've never been a member though. Does anyone know if the google discount can be used on a "Keep It" purchase? They only have about 15 games that are over $30 in their store and there's no way to buy more than one game at a time, so you're limited to those games if you want to use the Google checkout deal. But if I understand it correctly, you can use Keep It for any game that they rent, which would increase the selection of $30+ games by quite a bit.
 
So basically it looks like someone opened the game and shipped it off to you? Maybe a few scratches on the disc, but that's about it?

I've recently become an Xmen fan, and after I saw some kid running amuck with Wolverine on the Xbox version at GC I've wanted to get the 360 game..... but I hear it's pretty bad so I don't want to pay the $40 new price. However $25 is another story.....
 
Well, since the box and instructions are never sent to renters, all you have to worry about is the disc, and that's guaranteed to work. It's better than buying used from some random person anyway.

How much crap do you have in your cart? Whenever i have 2 pre-order items the google checkout option greys out, but if I take one out it is ok.

Make sure you're not logged in at buy.com when you try.
 
To me it looks like they changed a few things around. I had put Baten Kaitos origins in the cart (Buy.com) and the Google Checkout was grey.

Other sites, like CDUniverse, BestPrices, and DVDEmpire seem to not have any limitations. I think too many people were buying stuff at Buy.com for $10 off.
 
Sorry for not clarifying but I have used it twice at buy.com and it won't let me use it again. I am not logged in, I do not have any pre-orders in my cart, I even tried clearing all cookies and trying again.

It allows me to click on the google checkout button, but when it goes to the next page the $10.00 discount isn't there.

I really wanted Mario vs DK 2, since my CC was out last week.
 
I used it at buy.com 3 times so far just yesterday (finally found some DVDs I wanted). But I have heard that other people have had trouble using it even twice. It's weird. The deal doesn't mention any particular limit, as far as I know.

You might try another browser.

Damn, I waited too long to do this and now it won't let me. It says under item status: for the 1 month vision pack that it is on order. It also said cannot use google check out with this item. Anybody else having this problem? Did CAG clean Buy.com out off all the vision camers? LMK what's up as I really wanna order this.
