Buy.com's GCO EXTRAVAGANZA!!!

Anyone successfully getting this discount with multiple accounts by just changing your name and phone number? What about the rest of the info?
 
Look, I'm not trying to thread crap here... I'm just saying that we ought to pare the list down so that it only includes deals that are better than "retail price minus $10." This could be a much more useful thread! Otherwise you may as well add every single in-stock game to the list.

How wierd is this - not a day after I checked on my Mercury Meltdown preorder at buy.com via GCO (which still seems to be intact), I get an email from GCO asking me to rate my experience with buy.com. That's great and all, but I need to get the game first before I pass judgement :lol:.

Also, on some deals, you can decline a free magazine subscription and get 10 more dollars off in a printable rebate... Don't know if this is still going on or not though.
 
Yeah, I made about 5 orders with these guys so far (I just learned about it a few weeks ago) and I think there gonna finally get rid of my account.

I noticed when I ordered Metroid Prime 3 the order was only placed and I contacted them and they said there verifying my stuff... probably means, they know because I made quite a few orders with them already with the same phone number and all.

I asked to cancel the order, awaiting a response for that now. :cry:
 
I saw some decent Wii component cables ranging from $2.99 to $16.99 (official) + shipping. Guess I might have to invest in these now.

I've only made a total of 2 orders and all I've done was change my e-mail...hopefully its only a limit and they aren't taking the privledge of getting the $10 off with the same cc

anyways, op updated with table tennis (360), picross (ds), kameo (360), blitz the league (360), perfect dark 0, project gotham 3, viva pinata, rayman raving rabbids (360), and lego star wars 2 (also 360)
 
I just ordered something and I got a tracking number and all, it just doesnt exist on the USPS database. After reading some of the review rating sites on buy.com... I'm kinda worried.

don't be - both games I've got thus far shipped within a week and a half and the $10 off applied to both (on the same cc card)

Has anyone noticed the free 1-year magazine subscription offer when you go to look at your cart? Looking closer at the details, it says you can decline the offer and "you may receive an allowance for its stated value," so it sounds like you can get a $10 rebate. Anyone looked into this offer? I'm wondering if I can get something for less than $20 including S/H and then use GCO and the rebate to actually make money...

Yeah, the cancellation went through. I got MP3 from Familyvideo cheaper than what I would of gotten it from them anyway (Buy.com w/ GCO - $43 to Familyvideo with new user coupon - $39).

The orders I made with them was...

Anyone preorder Mercury Meltdown Revolution for the Wii from Buy.com?

I placed my order back in June when it was $8.99 after GCO ($18.99 + free shipping + GCO). Over the last few days, the listing has changed to state it was not available from the manufacturer and was not available for order...and then I checked tonight and there is no listing. My order is still listed as 'on order', though. Amazon still lists it for preorder w/ a release date of Sept. 24th.

Anyone have their order canceled?
 
I've seen the GCO so much on CAG but never considered using it. Man I'm dumb. This makes so make DS games great bargains. I'll be picking up Picross, Brain Age 2, Puzzle Quest (once it goes to $20), and who knows what else.

I just picked up A String Quartet Tribute To Coheed and Cambria's In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3 for less than $5 shipped.


Whats a good amount of time to wait before placing another order?

No idea...I waited about 2-3 months but thats only because only a couple things interested me (re4 wii to brain age 2)
