Canada is region 1, same as US, so you should be fine as regards DLC. Only issue I know would be possibility of different artwork or other details that a collector may care about. (Zelda Ocarina of Time, for instance, Canadian version has multicolor cover art with a horse running instead of the usual gold cover). Also, not sure whether you can trade/sell Canadian copies to US retailers, maybe someone else can comment. Europe/UK is region 2, hence the problem with DLC.

Thanks for the info. It says all region on the back but it has an esrb rating so I figure it's good to go. I'm assuming people are getting games with pegi ratings which are causing the problems.

It's going back. I have bought next to nothing off Amazon in the gaming market for the last couple of years. This is another reason why.
