Is there a limit on the amount of the same game you can buy from Amazon? Do they ban people like Gamestop does?

You mean the amount you can TRADE in? I highly doubt gamestop or any store for that matter will ban you for buying a lot of copies of the same game

And as far as I know, No, they don't limit the amount of copies of the same game you can trade in

I'm not sure I have ever heard of a store limiting you to a number on purchasing something unless it's either a super low print run or it is a very good special deal.
If there's a limit, they'll list it like they did with the 1 limit on ps3 and wii.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I have only seen that on amazon's site for like say, Lightning deals and such or something they have very few of.

Otherwise i doubt any retailer is going to be too upset about you buying a lot. I could buy 1000 copies of Red Dead Redemption if I had the 60,000 dollars to pay for it, I doubt it would cause any concern to them :p

Yeah, at least tell us what you are looking at after the fact.

I'm guessing that he's looking at either a mispriced item or a "clearance" price.

If you had a crystal ball you could make some nice $ . . . for instance, I bet there was a point where you could have purchased 100 sealed copies of Ico for something like $10-15 a piece.

Just to clarify what the OP was saying, Gamestop.com has been limiting the number of newer games you can buy. For instance, I know with people who bought God of War 3 and New Super Mario Bros. a while ago, the system locked them out on buying a second copy when there were particular deals going on stating they cannot buy more than one.
