Amazon.com has Buzz! The Mega Quiz Bundle (thats the game and the cool controllers) for less than $19! Add $6 to your order and you'll get free shipping. A quick check on Pricegrabber.com showed that the next cheapest price is $26 plus shipping. This is my first post so I hope I posted correctly!

Sorry folks its back up to $36 :(
FYI If you ordered it when it was at $18.91 you can get a $3 credit because it went down to $15.88 briefly and Amazon has a Post-Order Price Guarantee. I did it already. Cheers!
Excellent first post and find, but next time add a link. Welcome!
Yeah even before your reply I realized I goofed! Thanks!
Buzz Jungle party is also the same price with the controllers.
Its Jr. I figure the questions are more geared towards kids.

oh nice. that's a really good price and the game is pretty entertaining. my cousins, between 17 - 24 yrs old, really liked it when we played it on sunday.

i found the game for $7.48 on clearance at Target and bought used buzzers for $4.99 at GS. but it's extremely YMMV. Amazon is an easier option.

Actually the Buzz Jr. Jungle version is a collection of mini-games, and not a quiz at all.

Awesome, I just ordered this for my dad last week (he teaches and the kids love stuff like this), now I can get $6 back to put towards some Blu-rays.

If this forum had a rep system, I'd give you some green!

Does anyone know if the controllers will work on a PS3? My girl loved playing it when we were in Best Buy. I'm not sure if they plug into the standarde controller ports or USB.

A Google search says that the controllers work on PS3. It's 4 buzzers connected to one USB plug, so you could buy another set and have up to 8 players.

This is a great price and I'd be in for one if the controllers were wireless. I know that not being wireless is what kept the price low to begin with, but still...

Better all around than Scene It? ...I'm undecided between them and am favoring this due to the price

edit: read ign's synopis' and they said buzz has 6,000 questions compared to scene it's 1,800 - looks like I'm getting this.

You should also keep in mind that this edition of Buzz is general trivia while Scene It is purely movie trivia.

And I wouldn't buy it if it WAS wireless.

I've been intrigued by this game since I heard about it. Think I may go for it as I like board games like this. Could be fun!
Seems to be $15.88 now for the Mega Quiz and Jungle Party bundles, $11.91 for the game only.
Got it for $15.88 (I'm trying out Amazon Prime). Thanks OP!

That's bizzare...it still lists it as $15.88 on the product search screen, but on the page itself and in the shopping cart it comes up as $35.99. Buzz Junior is still $15.88 though. Wonder if the price is going to be lowered back to $15.88.

In any case, you can still get Buzz Junior and the game-only version of Mega Quiz for around $28 shipped.

I hope the Mega Quiz bundle drops back down as I'd like to end up with 2 sets of buzzers (getting the Jungle bundle as well) for Mega Quiz. I may go with the Jungle bundle and Mega Quiz game-only, though, then pick up an extra set of used buzzers from gamestop. Anyone know what they (buzzers-only) go for used at gamestop (they aren't listed online)?

Not to derail this thread but the PS3 sequel, Buzz! Quiz TV, is coming out in September and has loads of features: wireless buzzers, create and download user quizzes, dlc quiz packs, and 8-player online matches. This means practically infinite replay value.

I'll be waiting to jump into this series at that time.

Dude you can bet I'll buy that too. But $15.88 is the price of a crappy lunch here in Manhattan! And September is still 3 months away!

That sounds awesome. Gamestop lists it at $60 with the four wireless buzzers, so I'll consider getting that at launch.
Thanks for the heads up! Got it instead of NYT Crosswords to go w/ my Rondo of Swords.
I just said screw it and got all 3.

As far as a PS3 version, that's fine. I occasionally pay for services, but I don't pay for strictly downloadable content. Only the questions on the disc and those via free download, are what exist to me.

Secondly, I prefer wired to wireless controllers.

Third, let me know when it's $19.
