Just picked these Playstation games up at a local game store:

Vanguard Bandits (missing Lunar 2 demo disc, but otherwise excellent)
Tomba 2 (manual is beat up, and the disc appears to have been resurfaced)

Total cost: 13 penny guides traded in + $11.52

It would've been a better deal had the guy at the store not given away the Lunar 2 demo just a day earlier :bomb:
 
I actually pre ordered a game today for the first time in at least a year or two(last was God Of War II for PS2, but I only put $5 on that to get some guides for 'free').

I PO'd Mercenaries 2(for PS3) from Blockbuster near my house with some of my credit from the flipping I've been doing lately. Out of pocket expense to me was about $25-30, so I paid half price for the game basically.

You know you could've bought that for $19.99 after $10 off Kmart coupon, right? They have those entertainment book things with Lego Batman on the cover and inside are coupons for $10 off Resistance and Motorstorm and $5 off God Of War II. Oh and if you get online with GTA IV, try and join us for CAG gaming night on Sundays at 9pm EST. It's a fun time all around.

Woohoo, Nightmare Before Christmas tomorrow. The DVD collector's edition is so much cooler than the bluray slipcase. That pisses me off -- bluray should at least get steelbook cases.. Arg.

Hmm..August was a big month for me

I bought a PS3 and PSP and got the following games:

PSP: GoW:Chains of Olympus, Vice City Stories, Daxter, Ratchet and Clank
PS3: MGS4, Uncharted, Pre-Ordered SOCOM, DS3 Controller
DS: Professor Layton and the Curious Village
HD DVD: Complete Matrix Trilogy
