[CAG] Barracks (COD/HALO3/TF2/RSV2/etc...)

Damn, fellas, I want to get on COD/TF2 so bad, but I just got Lost Odyssey in the mail, and I am immersing myself into it's 4-disc-long world! But I may get on COD4 for about an hour from 11-12 (central) tonight!
 
I just got the Orange Box for 360 so I'd be up for some Team Fortress 2 as long as it is noob friendly and I can find a 48 hour code to use. My gamertag is "Taneboro".
 
Yeah I just bought The Orange Box on sunday and played it for awhile, it seems like there is a deep learning curve for TF2, but im willing to learn since I did have fun playing it.
 
Crap ... looks like I missed out on some fun last night. It's hard to decide which game to play if we have multiple rooms going on. This should make things more interesting from now on.

As for playing TF2 - I would be down if anybody sees me on tooling around in Devil May Cry 4 or anything else. I didn't realize people still played that.

we should have another TF training with a bunch of CAGs. we did it the other day and it was a lot of fun. It was me, khondor and DCriminal. khondor was on a team with dcriminal and taught him the ropes while I goofed around on the other team trying to whack them with a shovel and such.

I'm starting up a CAG Grifball team on Halo 3 for the next Grifball.com tournament, hosted by RoosterTeeth, the creators of Red vs Blue.

If anyone's interested in playing for fun or for the team, shoot CAG Grifball a friend invite on XBL. I'll be using that to start up games, etc.

Games are 4v4, and each team can have alternates that cannot be changed once the season starts.

Thanks to Simon, DC, Burp and the rest of the CAGs for letting me join the COD4 fun last night - I think I actually played better with the CAG clan tag!
 
Oh, man, what a weekend of [CAG] Insanity!

I don't know how the servers were able to handle both fullmetal and twenzor in one room, but they did!

Anyways, it's always fun, and I had a great friday/saturday night playing with the clan!

I will definitely be online tonight as well!

That should be better for me. As I will be able to play for about an hour and a half before work at midnight. I still good be a little late due to I am going to a baseball game that night.

C4 + Headquarters + Crossfire + Thrown Into Garage (under sniper spot) = 5 kills whole team dead. Play of the day.

I'll also be on Saturday at 10PM EST. About time.. pretty much the only time I play with a massive CAG group is like 3AM in the morning. By that time, my killing skills are whacked.
 
I will be there. I am going to a baseball game at 7 PM EST and should be back right around 10. The only thing is I will only be able to play for an hour and half before work. But I look forward to wiping my Midwesterner ass with the revolution.

You know, if it weren't for Jimmiemac starting all this shit it wouldn't really matter now would it? I don't see why we need to be turning CAG against CAG when we really should be fighting the real bad guys: jackasses who use juggernaut in combination with last stand. All of this isn't helping form a cohesive community, which was the one thing that really drew me to this site.

Maybe its just because I like to play the game for fun that I'm not getting this whole macho "me pwn u" attitude. Either way, I'll be playing on Simon's team because I love his wacky ass too much not to.

I completely agree with xcoax. This all started when JimmieMac challenged us after we were complaining about trash talking idiots on MLG/Game Battles, and all those other cute little boys' clubs.

We are simply defending the gamers who want to play for fun, not to compete in every way, shape and form, just for the sake of "0oo0o0oo you're such a n0oB!!!! I pwned u cuz I'm so Pr0, dood!'

I love playing this game solely to enjoy it with [CAG]. But according to a few folks, including some of the ones we're facing, because we're not playing competitively in tournaments and other silly games, and because we're not playing only to bring our "stats" up, ....we "suck."

I'm not that great at the game. But what I excel at is being an awesome team player, being fun to play with, and not talking mindless immature trash for no reason when I'm online.

My attitude is, if you don't do it in real life, don't do it online. ...half of the people that have talked trash to me wouldn't dare talk down to me in person, so in that I take solace.

I think that after CAG WAR II, and after I get burned out on the new maps, I'm going to return this 8th rental, put in Team Fortress 2, and leave these cocky, trash talking shaq-fu-ers out of my gaming experiences.


...I just can't wait until COD 5 comes out, and all the dudes that live their lives on this game and treat people like shit just sit in a corner and cry because nobody gives a damn about their 10th level prestige.

...the same goes for any asshole who doesn't realize that VIDEO GAMES are just that. GAMES.


...man, I thought my 30 minute rant about this subject on my podcast last week would be enough, but I'm getting fired up all over again.:bomb:
