Last year, a few of us met up with CheapyD, and talked Cheap-Ass E3 swag... Are we doing it again this year?

Add your name and day(s) attending E3 to the thread if you're going to E3 and available to meet your fellow CAG'ers. Include what portable system you own; either PSP or DS. We'll have a small tourney; prizes on me.

who's the guy in the brown shirt? He looks high or something. I'd go but Im saving my vacation time for a family reunion. All the good stuff is with the press pass anyway.

Actually, I didn't make last years meetup. I asked if such a thing were going to take place but no one responded. Then, at the last minute, a thread popped up here but I had already left for L.A. and didn't see it until after the show! :bomb: :bomb: :bomb:

I hope we plan it better this year because I will definitely be there proudly wearing my CAG T-shirts!!!!
 
I'll be going next year for sure, but can't make it this year.

3 people from my site are going though, one of which is AmusedToe.
You should probably add him to the list, I'm sure he would be interested if he has time.
 
Whats the criteria for Media. I've always gone as "Exhibits Only". Does owning/running a videogame webiste count as media? Being an avid poster here?

Trying to see what the easiest thing I could possibly do to attend media next year.

CAG could use a game review section. Reviews could be rotated so the people who have been here Along time and that are constant posters/contributors could be considered press. There are alot of people here that I would rather hear reviews from rather then GameInformer/EGM/Nintendo Power and so on.

Technically yes, There was a good article I read about last year where they dissected the requirements for a press pass(I'll look for it). Now CheapyD would have to acknowledge said individuals as STAFF of this site. I know that is never going to happen to me but I enjoy your news-bits that you contribute to this site so maybe you got a shot?

Yeah, isn't it great? Just BS a whole article and claim it as your own, and voila, in like flynt! Problem is, they're getting stricter on what you need now, so most "fansites" aren't going to be going this year.



I'll be at E3 all three days as well.
 
I'm going to stay home and clean up on all the video game deals you guys are going to miss out on.

I know plenty of people who make fake websites, review a few games, get in to E3. It's awfuly easy to get Media. They are limited retail this year so hopefully it will be less crowded.
 
This'll be my seventh E3, I believe. I'm working the show for GameTrailers this year, doing on-air hosting for booth tours. If you see a guy wearing some type of Game Trailers shirt with a mic and a camera crew following him, that'll be me. Please feel free to say hi. Not sure I'll have time for a CAG meet-and-greet, however, as I don't know my schedule yet.

Where are you guys staying? I will be at the Stillwell.

Fly in Tuesday, leave on Saturday. Wanted to stay all week, but other people couldn't do it so we're just coming in Tuesday.
 
i am not going, but i live in los angeles, if any of you want to loan out your entry pass i would pay you $20 to get me in.(i am cheap)
