I wish I could go. Maybe next year. I hope I can get my gaming site up & running by the end of this year so I can attend E3 2007. lol. w00t w00t! I have to be 18 right? Oh well. My b-day is on November. So I can definately go next year. Anyways, have fun!

Begging is a commonly exercised practice. Otherwise, if you aren't on "the list" and you don't know someone on the inside then you ain't getting in.
 
Well after fear of not getting in. I was able to score a guest ticket thanks to an MS rep. that is an active member of TeamXbox.com. I'll definately will be there Wednesday, Thursday, and possibly Friday. WoooOOOOHOOOO!
 
Amazingly, I should be able to make it. It's the only hour that day when I don't have an interview/booth tour booked. Not sure how long I'll be able to hang, but I'll definitely swing by to say hey.

That's a drag, Rock. I was looking forward to meeting you. I quite literally don't have any other free time for the rest of the show. Other than that one hour, my schedule is all meetings, shooting pick-ups, roundtables at the GameTrailers stage, and (mercifully) getting an hour to eat lunch, all three days.

Is there some common theme to these requirements?
 
Two questions for Thurs:

1. Assuming there will be other people that CAG there, how will we figure out where inside to meet? We see what Cheapy looks like but just incase if we get there early or he comes late, you know.

2. The PSP/DS games has there been a game we would play? I really don't want to carry a stack of games to find out we could've just brought one.

1. Meet by the bar, check the map. Look for a tall 6'5" guy wearing a CAG t-shirt.

2. I'm bringing my PSP with Capcom Generations; I'll be able to send you games...

I showed up a bit late, and only really got to meet Cheapy. Nice guy in real life, but I had to cut out quick to meet my sister. And forgot to thank him with helping me fine so many great deals and save so much money.

Thanks Cheapy! Hope to see you in E3 07, who know by then I may have my condo in LA and we can have a CAG after party.
 
It was nice meeting everyone there. Just sorry that I wasn't able to chat much though. I got swamped w/calls and everything. Hopefully next time around I'll be able to join in more. I really wanted to hear more about what everyone thought good and bad. Sorry again! :cry:

I'll be walking around tomorrow w/co-workers and friends, so if you happen to see me or vice versa feel free to say hi. Just look for the "got adobo?" shirt. :lol:

I would have showed up for the CAG meet, but I was "stuck" in the Wii booth. No way in hell I was coming outta there after waiting in line for four hours!

Yes, that's me the organizer of the CAG Meetup, looking too much like Cheapy. Perahps I've been spending too much time on the site. Let that be a warning to all; spend enough time and you will morph into a Cheapy clone.

Seriously, It was fun metting everyone; daphatty and Psykodelik seem like somne cool characters. Sorry I couldn't chat with everyone longer.

The 1st annual CAG tourney was a pit of a no-go. There was too much DS vs. PSP rivalry to get it going ;) Still we had a winner. I'll post the pic later...

And amazingly no one thought I was Cheapy D. I think it's just this pic that make us look similar. I do have a bit of hair!
 
I'm really sorry I couldn't make it, guys. At my THQ booth appointment eariler, I managed to pin down an interview with WWE Superstar Rob Van Dam. It was supposed to happen at 2:45, giving me plenty of time to head down to Kentia, but like most things at E3 it got delayed and took longer than I planned.

I did meet rocksolidaudio at the Sony booth during the first hour of day 1. Apparently Cheapy was nearby too, but I didn't see him and was too indisposed to seek him out.

So now I know what daphatty, rallen, cheapyd, and wombat look like so who are the rest of the CAGs in that pic. I just realized that everyone that I stated are basically the whole left side of the pic.

Rallen is third from the right, Daphatty is third from the left, CheapyD is the far right, Wombat isn't pictured but a link to some of his pics is provided by Shipwreck a few posts down.
 
BAHAHAH!!! That's not Wombat! LOL!!!! I think his handle is MasterHyjinx. He's a friend of mine that doesn't really visit the forums too often but wanted to stop by anyway.
