Lol, I would love to have garou come to the states.

I'm hoping for the Last Blade collection that came out will comes here with all the bugs gone. That will be nice.
I meant the game is still being played competitively in the tournament sense... not just in arcades...

I'll leave it at that!

When I can, I WILL confirm.
That's why I think it's MB. I don't know any other game played competitively.

I'd like it to be hnk, but I'd still pick it up if it was melty blood.

Also, I wonder how well Arcana Heart's gonna do.

I will say the character in-game sprites look better than the character art (drawings for portraits and or concept)... first time I've ever heard myself say that.

also as for import game... I would say Melty Blood, but I still dream of Rumble Fish.
my oh my! I have some big news regarding a PS2 import only fighting game that might FINALLY come over here!

O_O

It's one that actually gets played competitively too...

O_O
God, please be a good and just God, and let this be HNK. Please?
My guess was also Melty Blood, but if it is, I wonder if it'll be Ver. B... prolly not.
If it is, I'll definitely have to pick it up AGAIN. I already have the JPN Act Cadenza for PS2, wouldn't mind getting an updated version of the game.

I would think the licensing for Melty Blood would kill the chances of it coming here, but then again, I think that'd be the case with Hokuto no Ken, as well... and Markman previously said that Sega didn't want to do it. Perhaps that's changed in these "dump whatever shit you want on the PS2" days, but I dunno...

Maybe it's Garou for PS2.

Or the Spectral Force Fighter

Or Garouden Break Blow

Or maybe it's Guilty Gear Slash for the PS2.

The mind is being boggled at this time.

Speaking of: Anyone recommend it? I could do with a new 2d fighter. To put things in perspective, my favorite fighting games are Guilty Gear followed closely by MVC2 (I like my fighters fast and flash, honestly not a fan of slower or more technical fighters)

Looks like Snake is climbing up the charts in SSBB... He really has a LOT of tricks/tools...

From what some top players are saying it seems like he's in top tier for sure...
Recommend what?

HNK - Yes
Melty Blood - Yes
Arcana Heart - No
touche sir, touche. I did mean Arcana Heart (since it's coming out here). HNK is still on my wish list, and I may end up modding my PS2 so I can import it.

Thanks

do you know what these tricks are? =)

Here are some videos of most of the tactics...

I can't really find a use for those grenade tactics. Maybe I'm not doing it right.

Holding the jump button to connect all those kicks is really useful though. I was wondering how to do that.

I'm so glad the flaming kick got fixed... I hated going for that and nothing but short comes out lolol... esp on wake up.

Gief's SPD is SUPER easy now though compared to original STs... I mean f,hcf!?

Too easy.

Makes me wanna giant swing foolz with King all day.

Seriously? That is too easy. I could only do it before after another move, like a jab or jumping in short kneedrop. And even then, I'd whiff it occasionally.

I loved stealing moves with Rogue.

Yea, it's optional, but why do the original motion when you can do it the easier way now?

Oh well, at least there is original ST HD mode for purists :)

Damn, I wanted Fei to stay number 1 lol. I'm a sucker for Bruce Lee clones :looks @ K. Dragon:

Interesting stuff, but at this point, I'm not as excited with HD Remix as I once was. Seems like by the time it comes out, there'll be a crap ton of fighters I'll be trying to figure out already.

Yeah, Bruce Lee clones ftw. Also, is there a release date, or at least a relative one, for sengoku basara cross?

Seriously, I think Marshall Law is the closest (moveset) wise to Bruce Lee out of all the clones...

Kim Dragon
Jan Lee
Fei Long
Forrest Law
Marshall Law
Maxi

Am I missing anyone?

I can even tell what movie/move and vice versa some of Law's stuff is from lol...
