Last year, CAGs raised over $49,000 for Penny Arcade's Child's Play charity. This year, I'm setting the target at $50,000.

For every $5 donated via PayPal through the CAG ChipIn system, you will receive one entry into a raffle to win 1 of 2 $500 Amazon gift cards and other great prizes. Every year, the CAG Community donates some really cool and generous prizes and I expect to get some corporate donations too. I expect the prize list to grow and grow until the very end of the fundraiser.

You must donate through the ChipIn system by 12/31/11 or your raffle entry will not register. Just click the "ChipIn" button to donate. Donations are accepted via PayPal and go directly to Child's Play. ChipIn tracks our donations as a group, but the money is immediately deposited into Child's Play's PayPal account and never passes through CAG in any way.

My company just closed down today. Showed up at work this morning, we were locked out. No paycheck, no explanation, no anything. All we are told is that they will get in touch with us after the new year.

STILL, I donated my last $10.00 to this Charity. It's a great charity. Happy New years everyone!
 
The Chip-in widget says Jan 2, but the OP says by Dec 31. And does that mean before Dec 31 Japanese time? End of Dec 31 in the last time zone?

Just Chip'd in $100. After having to go back to the Pediatric ICU with my few day old child earlier this month, it really put this great cause into a whole new light for me.

As long as the widget lets you donate, you are good to go (and eligible or the raffle).

Well, finally threw mine in for $50. Would have done more but I may spend much of 2012 (like most of the second half of 2011) unemployed :cry:.

I kind of waited till the last minute to help with that final push. It didn't look good a few days ago but I think it does now!
 
Damnit, where did that donate prizes link go? I completely forgot about my extra copy of Skyward Sword until now and was going to submit it for a prize after thinking about it when this started but never coming to a real conclusion.

I didn't forget (I usually chip in right when this starts), but this year has been pretty bad for me and there's a lot of changes going on in my life right now.

However, while I can't throw in as much as I usually like to, every little bit helps, right? Count me in for $20. Might as well end 2011 with some good...

Does the donation have to be $50 at once to enter? I donated $25, then $5, then $20 not realizing how much I had left in my account.
