CAG League Sports: Madden 12 "JV League" - We Finished 3 Seasons! Thanks Everybody!!!

if you wanted to give a specific time for Saturday night I can try to work out my schedule so I could be around. For me sunday is the better day but depending on how late I can probably swing Saturday night.
 
I personally prefer 8 EST or later. 9, 10, 11 work for me as well. I can be flexible though if needed.

I am just tossing that out to get the ball rolling.

Yeah, I probably couldn't do earlier than 9, but I'd make every effort to do so.

One thing I just thought of is when do we consider the season 'over'. Is it after the Super Bowl or is it after the draft? That will affect trading due to the cap. If it is after the draft, then those trades above may not work out.

I would think the SuperBowl would be end of season. Logic being the trades made do not and cannot affect the outcome of this last season. The trade cap should reset following the game but before the draft as the draft class directly affects NEXT season obviously. I would hope/assume that's how the other league does it since it makes sense to me logically.

in the offical league after the superbowl the trade caps restart after the superbowl before the draft. not sure if thats how they do it in this league but the few leagues i have been in thats how it works so that big trade can be made before the draft.
i really wish the trade cap would be moved up to 4 core players this next year is there any chance we could move it to be higher by chance to make things more interesting

if anyone else likes the idea of moving up the 4 core players to the limit. if so and we get some people tlaking about ti maybe N8 will move it up this season
 
hey a little heads up the first 2 weeks of march im going to be MIA i got to go out in the field for 2 weeks for training for my next deployment coming up in october so im gonig to miss some games around that time just thought i would give a heads up hope this doesnt get me kicked out of the league
 
I'll be gone for two weeks myself in the beginning of March for two weeks on a business trip! Havent figured out a way to bring the Xbox with me yet! So if it's ok with everyone I'd like Blade to Sub my games for me! Not because he is good but because he is one of my best friends I've known for 15 years now. I trust him.

Anyone have any objections to him subbing for me from March 3rd to March 15th?

im cool with it im just hoping that whoever subs for me plays smart i was hoping that yanksfan or kaster could sub for me i dont know them in person but i get a good vibe from both of them since i have talked to them both quite a bit in here and on xbl i feel like i can trust them with my team while being gone

Rams 26

St. Louis lost all its momentum with the week off and fell to the Packers 27-26. After falling behind 21-7 in the first half, the Rams roared back, scoring 19 unanswered points (including a safety) to take a 26-21 lead. However, the Packers were able to get in the end zone in the fourth, and Sam Bradford threw an INT on the Ram's last drive to try to take the win.

Great game, Pitfall! I thought it was going to be a rout after the first half, but I was able to fight back to make it interesting.

Good luck in the rest of the playoffs! Can't wait until Season Two!
 
Steven Jackson is a beast. You were killing me on those draws and screen passes. By the time I adjusted, it was almost too late. I was sure it was over after that safety. And I SCREAMED after Bradford just lobbed it to my defender, who had no Ram close to him, and he drops the damn ball. If I had gone on to lose after that, I would've rage quit Madden forever. :lol:

That might've been the most fun game I've played this season. GG, man. We should be scheduled again next season since we both won the division. It'll be fun.

Now it's on to Atlanta and a rematch with Yanksfan. Here's a Packers fun fact: I'm 8-1 on the road and only 5-3 at Lambeau Field.
 
Definitely, yes. The trade cap resets after the Super Bowl.

As for increasing the core player limit, I'm hesitant. I guess if it keeps people interested in the league, I wouldn't be opposed to it. Just want to make sure things don't get too crazy either.

Yeah, I hit the wrong damn button on that pass, and I could not believe your guy didn't catch it. And, according to Super Bowl XLVI, that should have been intentional grounding, right? After that, I kinda decided in my head that you deserved to win, so when the INT happened, I wasn't devastated. The draws were working pretty well, but I had no confidence in my passing game. And once you brought your defenders up, I didn't have any good pass plays to counter. I have no good receivers on my team, so once players start stopping Jackson, I'm pretty much stuck.

I thought I had you after that safety, too, but I couldn't run enough time off the clock. And then on your next possession, it seemed like my secondary just decided to stop playing. Your guys were WIDE open, and I couldn't figure it out.

I'm Home! Rider I was under the impression that we had planned for monday?

Just spent 3 hours in Traffic to get 20 Miles. And that was to start my 4 hour drive which took 8 hours in the end, That Blew!

I seriously hope the above comments were jokes, I'm sure they were.

Seems the website shows them being older then the league info in the actual game.

Leshoure is 21, and Shipley is 25 in the game
 
ya we ran into this problem in the offical league i believe that they said if you use the easports website that the ages are correct and so are the ratings but after the second season that the overalls on the site are all messed up and that player management in the game the overalls arent correct but the correct overalls would be in depth chart
 
I am starting to get offers for trades. Let me just say that I am not interested in trading away players until preseason. However, I have all my draft picks available for trade.

well the ages in depth chart are correct as of now but once season two hits the ages in depth chart will be wrong but the overalls will be right. player management and easport.com age are correct and overalls will be wrong but rookie ages will be really weird in easports.com example rookie ages will be extrememly higher than wut they are. hope this isnt confusing for anyone. once the second season hits something will be very confusing when it comes to overalls and ages

Duanta's overall will be going down in the next few seasons, but I suppose the 3rd equals that out.

Looks fine to me.

Am I correct in assuming everyone know what trading draft picks entails, you'll have to be in contact withthe person you trade with, at that pick, so they can pick for you.

I have asked numerous times about that everyone says the same. As far as the draft are we all just going to log on and be on the home or should we exchange number or what?
 
For the draft, there is a chat feature you can use on the EA website for the draft. I highly recommend using it. If you want Doc, I can PM you my # though and you can text me the selection. The commish can pause the draft during the trade picks so we make sure we get those right.

Though I have a vent server that supports up to 15 people if we want to chat.
 
u could use the easports website or use xbl to do the draft which is alot easier for drafting and everything i use both to keep track i use xbl on madden to see if the guy i want got drafted and i watch the computer on easports to see wut people are saying and if i have a traded pick with someone and want to tell them who do draft for me i would use xbl and use a party to talk to them if they dotn have a mic i would consider exchanging numbers as well. all truly depends on ur situation
