Let me lay down the rules:

I have my copy early and I have already set up the leauge: Legendary League.


  • 32 Player Max
  • There will not be unique roster. There is no trading to be enabled, if it was nothing would stop you from trading all your crap players for good ones.
  • One game against each user.
  • Difficulty: All-Pro
  • Playoffs: Enabled
  • Quarter Length: 4 Minutes
  • Fatigue: Enabled
  • Injuries: Enabled

I know it says "up to" 32 teams, but once you get past a number, it will be more than 7 games vs, users.

Sorry, haven't had the chance to experience that. :p So it just bumps it up to 11 games vs. users when we hit 32 players?

No, if you have 32 players, all 16 games will be against human players.

That can't be right. Why wouldn't it just use a basic 16 game format? Hell, in that case, it could use the actual 2008 schedule.
 
SHIT. Wtf is wrong with EA. You do have to play 31 games if you have a 32 team league.

Signups are done. Jagged Toaster you are the last one.

EDIT: When do you guys think I should start the signups? Day of release? One week after? I was thinking maybe Friday of that week so everyone can get their paycheck.

Friday sounds good, gives people time to buy the game, also time to practice.

The 31 games for 32 teams thing is horrible. I'm hoping they offer up some sort of patch to change this. But.. it's EA we're talking about..

My God that is beyond retarded. Of all the "improvements" for this 20th anniversary edition of Madden, they couldn't figure out how to just randomize a 16 game schedule with 32 participants??? WTF is that??? That's like the most anti-sim thing I've ever heard of. Might as well call it Blitz 2009. Way to show your "Madden IQ" EA...derrrrrrrr!!!!
 
Are you going to be changing the 7 games against each user to 1 game against each? If not, that means we each would have to play 126 games. Yeah.. not liking that.

I would like to drop out of this league. I'm going to try something different with a league on here, not using the game's online league feature, and hosting the schedules here.
