I am always amazed at the starwars nerds that play the game online. Some of them are just too dedicated
 
Thanks I think I might have to grab Beach Spikers. I missed the only copy My EBgames store had in stock during black friday weekend & was watching it online for about a week or 2 but it was always OOS & after awhile I forgot to keep on the lookout for it.
 
Hmmmm I'm tempted by Beach Spikers. I love cheap easy-to-pick-up-and-play games since I only get to play every now and then.

The question is, is the gameplay good? The character models are just meaningless for me (not a straight guy, so can't enjoy the jiggly and not a woman, so can't "identify" with them), so gameplay is key. Why couldn't they include at least a *couple* of guys?

I haven't played it, but it's the best volleyball game out there right now.

I played Jedi Academy on the PC and it's like an expansion of Jedi Outcast except you start right off with the light saber and jedi powers. If you like that sort of game its right up your alley. I enjoyed Outcast and so played Academy with the same enjoyment. Have not tried the multiplayer aspect. You can modify your character to look as you wish (to some degree) and at a point in the game you can pick whether you want to play with one light saber, two or the two handed light saber staff like Darth Maul had.
 
Galleon...damnit...i want that game. If only i didnt promise my GF to not buy any other games (over $5) other than WoW this would so be mine!

I have learned over the last year with a fiancee that what she doesn't know (when it comes to your personal finances) won't hurt her much. Unless she's either keeping tabs of your game inventory or your checking account, you're golden!

That being said, DO NOT tell her phattyphat69 from CAG told you it was ok if you get caught. :wink:

Actually i have some e-bay stuff and some cd's to trade in, so we'll see what happens then :) "why yes, it was 4.99, dear"

The game is incredibly fun, exp with 4 people. Totally worth 6 if you have a couple of friends who would play with you
