Yeah it's pretty much an image copy. You don't have to deactivate gameshare accounts, but you do have to reactivate them all. I know it's odd that you have to do that, since none of the accounts will be deactivated on your system, but it requires reactivation to use all of the content. I don't think there's any way around reactivating all of the accounts. It's a pretty simple process, as long as you don't have any phantom shares on your console and you know all of the email addresses/passwords there shouldn't be any hassle.

I did a backup>upgrade>restore on the same system and all my locked saves transferred fine with full functionality. When I got a new PS3 I system transferred and that worked as well. Then I upgraded the new machine's hdd and all worked fine once again.

Has anyone have their Paypal dispute with DJHVIDAL resolved yet? Paypal just reversed my transaction due to lack of delivery information. It's hard to prove delivery of gameshares with just emails.

Paypal today informed me that they reversed that transaction and gave my money back to DJHVIDAL. I provided them with the information they requested plus a quote from a message where DJ told me he would sort everything out and sorry for the inconvenience. Ridiculous.

"We have conducted a review of a payment that you received. In this case, returning the funds to the sender was determined to be the appropriate action, and we have completed a reversal of the payment. Good selling practices like trackable shipping, prompt shipment, and communication between buyer and seller help prevent disputes."
 
You need to leave notes in the message box on PayPal when making payments. Did you two do that or just communicate through e-mail? Also, if it's a "gift", that's going to be automatic for the seller unless you're a verified member.

Yeah, it's terrible. MotorStorm Apocalypse costs twice as much as the UK store, and the Splinter Cell titles are on sale for £5.29 each.
