Well isn't that sad. I guess I have to back down. Knowing its EA, they'll probably have a sale or price drop soon.
 
I think the PS3 version has it though. I'll tell you tomorrow when I try the 60min trial. I suggest you do the same if you have a PS+ account.

You know Alice: Madness Returns is going down just like Mass Effect 2 and all their other digital titles. Just a matter of waiting it out. You can buy the original Alice title on the UK store, so that may be a reason why they excluded it. Maybe that file will make it's way to the US store.

So guys, Alice Madness PSN version doesn't include any of the DLC sadly, so no Alice 1 :(

BUT, you can buy the online pass on PSN, and it will unlock it... even on the PSN version.
 
You'll need the disc or PSN version to unlock it. You can only buy the digital version on the UK store. You might as well buy a resellable slot considering the cost of your code. If not, everyone would owe you money, haha.
 
The online code unlocks the first Alice game. I don't have the game NSYNC, but I figure I can have the phantom slot sitting in my PS3 until my copy of Alice Madness finds it's way into my hands.
 
The UK version is standalone. We don't have that one.

I know. I thought you wanted a phantom on Madness Returns. Going to be hard to find 3 people with used copies that need the Alice code. The game was on sale for $12 today brand-new.
 
I'm still pissed off I missed out on that deal. Was up till 7 this morning and then had a final when Best Buy finally decided to start it. Deal went dead in minutes.

I'm happy and content in experiencing a PSN title for a few bucks off the PSN store price and extending the experience (with greater savings) to all you fellow CAG's. Just a small sacrifice I'm willing to make to benefit the group. Does this sound kosher to you guys?

That makes no sense financially but if you really mean it, then write me down in permanent ink for a resellable share of anything you'll be hosting in the future.

So for a $60 dollar game:

Resellable share ($12)
Phantom share #1 ($6)
Phantom share #2 ($6)
SteamboatOperator ($36)

I have a feeling you will be hosting very very rarely.. :cry:

As far as the financials are concerned that's subjective. In my case it makes perfect sense. For the good part of 2 years I was purchasing PSN titles at full price not knowing that gamesharing was a possibility. Without that knowledge I would still be doing the same. As long as I get to experience a game I am interested in at a discounted price then I am good. I am also keen on keeping the community actively engaged. If you guys purchase my slots at a heavily discounted price then what is currently the norm, then share in that discount when its time for you to sell your slot, we all win. Obviously I don't expect everyone to make that small sacrifice, but just imagine if we all did - more people actively looking to form/join groups and higher share turnover.

Me hosting will only lend itself to games that I am personally interested in and would have purchased anyways, so there is that. After my Strangers Wrath share with NSYNC goes through my PS3 will be at the maximum account capacity, but as soon as I start finishing up my current log I will be right back at it (hosting).

That sounds more than okay. I'm really surprised by the amount of generosity that we have in this thread. Yanksfan gave away a few accounts a few weeks back and some other users are following his footsteps.

And count me out on the Alice share, I assumed you were going to host a share with Madness Returns.

His logical is basically this:

I'm going to purchase the game at full price anyway, might as well share it with some CAGs and share it. His clause is that he will only host shares that he really likes so that means it will be few and far between. Don't be too keen on that permanent ink, I'll be bringing some whiteout ;)

Then that'll be great. I was actually excited for it at $10 a pop but then I took an arrow to the knee.

EDIT: But then they increased the price. I was fine with it until the original Alice wasn't included too. So yeah, you can call me not excited about it anymore. But hey, if you're going to sell it to me for a few dollars off, I'll be more than happy to get it off of your hands.

Scratch that. Apparently the original Alice is included with the digital version of Alice Madness Returns, so no need to continue with my group since there isn't enough demand.
