I have the US Disc version so I don't think the EU DLC will work with it :( so i'll hunt for a US Group.

If I need room on my PS3 and I delete a RESELL game to make room, does my saved progress/trophies get deleted too? Or if I reinstall it at a later date can I start where I left off?

The trophies obtained are tied to the PSN account they are earned on assuming you sync with the server on a regular basis and your progress is tied to your save data for the game. If you still have the save data from said game on your PS3, you will be able to continue where you left off. Deleting the game itself will not delete your save data if you were wondering, you have to manually select the data and delete it (located under Saved Data Utility).

So the WSJ is confirming that Sony will announce the PS4 on the 20th and that Sony will not ditch the disk drive like previously stated. They also confirmed that it will release later this year. Anxious to see Microsoft's move now.

Exciting stuff for sure.

Yeah well they'll both lose a huge chunk of their audience if they do it. These greedy douchebags need to understand that not everybody can afford 60 bucks *plus tax* for a game they don't even know if they'll like *kinda like me and ni no kuni...*. I hope whichever company does it *or even both* goes out of business if they screw the gamers over again!

Regardless if the rumors proving true or not, I purchase my hardware based on the content provided and it's ease of use, with a much greater emphasis on content. If Sony continues to provide exclusive software to the PS4 that's to my liking, and in greater abundance than the competition, then I'll go with the PlayStation for next generation, as I have with the past three.

The Wall Street Journal would be considered one of the most reputable newspapers with regards to business affairs. Not entirely sure about their second party source but it seems that the evidence is mounting up. Leaked specs on multiple sites, the video, and WSJ article. It is probably true.

BTW Let me know about the Hitman HD whenever you have a chance. I would love to get it worked out to play this weekend.

I don't want it. I want my PS4 as cheap as it can get because I might get it when within 6 months instead of waiting three years like I usually do.
 
What I think is that PS4 wont be backward compatibility with PS3 discs.. I think they are going to keep PSN that way you guys can still play digital verison of PS3 games.. even PS2 and hell PSX ones too.. I am hoping that it will be higher than 500GB at launch and more than 16 users limit maybe 24 would be good

Yeah, I'm sure there will be a vocal minority in favor of backwards compatibility but the majority probably won't really care in the end. The thing that bothers me personally is the potential loss of digital content with the extinction of the platform.

That's what I'm worried about. If that happens I'm just going to wait a couple of years and see which system has my favorite exclusives.

Don't apologize. Information is gained through inquiry.

A phantom is simply a share which cannot be moved or sold. Once a phantom share is downloaded and installed onto your console, you cannot access it - doing so will render any game(s) associated with the share useless. This is why it commands a lower price then that of a sellable/re-sell share.
