I believe there is some truth to all of these statements. If I recall correctly, the difference hinges on the size of the onboard NAND in your specific model. I believe the 256MB module contains the firmware and account information completely, so should work to transfer phantoms. If it's the 16MB module, you will have to reactivate any shares after the upgrade is complete.

I personally have a fat 60GB BC model and all shares transferred without reactivation when I upgraded the HDD.

Hey guys. I was wondering, what does deactivating a PS3 do? If I delete all four of the PS3's tied to me account, am I able to activate my PSN again on them? Will my money in my wallet be there? What happens to my downloaded games (including PS+ games)? Thanks.

Not like I want to, but HDD space could be an issue, I'll wait until tomorrow to see what the size of the game will be. I think the size of the PC version (installed) is of 25GB, if that's the case with the PS3 version I won't even be able to download it.

Thank that means you already have 16 Accounts on your PS3. So would have to delete an Account or sell one of your shares.

i might take that resale for family guy. im getting it on steam as a gift but i could always sell it and get my money back and put it toward my resale. i'll let u guys know for sure later tomorrow though. I'm sending you the $2.50 so we can purchase the game. You can send me the info so I can do the phantoms and what not. It's already too much to ask you to host it for us.
 
I'm a big fan of the 3DS XL (and the DSi XL before it). Personally, I think it's a more-than-worthwhile upgrade over the standard 3DS and would highly recommend the XL version.

ok PS All Stars is up now. Why no hitman at midnight though? steam does it but not sony lol. I'm ready to dl skyliner :) Yea im gonna get the 3ds xl derfel it looks fun and i got raped by the psp and i know what sony does, the vita is gonna be like 100 real soon lol. what ds and 3ds games are real good? i know about the mario and re revelations but lemme know if theres other cool stuff. i love platformers, shooters, action adventure. hate turn based rpgs though

Almost 9gb. Must play if transformers fan. Multiplayer is surprisingly fun.

I'm not the biggest but the first one was really good, the others movie based ones were terrible. I'll think about it and see if I have enough space (got a few slots I'm buying that are phantoms.)

Kid Icarus: Uprising is a great game; the Kingdom Hearts game is fairly solid as well. Mario Kart is good. Paper Mario and Professor Layton both just came out; I haven't really had time to spend with them but both have been well-regarded. If you don't have a Vita then the 3DS version of Virtue's Last Reward is a must-play, though you should try to play 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors for the DS first (one of the best games ever). Rhythm Thief and Theatrhythm are both cool if you like rhythm-based games. There are upgraded versions of two absolute classics in Ocarina of Time 3D and Starfox 64 3D, of course. Pushmo and Mighty Switch Force are a couple really good 3DS eShop games.

For the original DS... geez, there's so much! All the Castlevania games are superb, the Phoenix Wright series is good, the first four Professor Layton games (if you like puzzles), Contra 4 (fantastic action game), Ghost Trick, Hotel Dusk, the Kirby games (especially Canvas Curse and Mass Attack), the Wario Ware series, the Sonic Rush series, Retro Game Challenge (a total classic). Also if you like puzzles, the Picross games are personal favorites of mine. Oh, The World Ends With You! That's a great one.

This is getting pretty long, maybe I'll stop typing now. :)
 
yea i love castlevania games and i never got into the ds. my last nintendo handheld was a gba sp, good times. last sony handheld was psp- bad times lol. im gonna check out that aliens game on ds, oh mannn it looks so good. 2 screens are better than one :)

PS all stars is 5.8 gb on PS3 and 1.3gb on vita lol

Well it seems your childhood didn't start at the peak of Pokemon so it makes sense.

One piece didn't air until 2004 if I recall. Pokemon was already starting to dip by then as 2000-2002(more or less) it was like the biggest thing.
 
I've never really played a Pokemon game, despite many opportunities over the years starting from the first set for the OG Game Boy. For some reason they don't particularly appeal to me.
 
Definitely check out Contra 4 then; it's made by the same developers and is fantastic!

brainy, how old are u? lol. i grew up with pokemon, that batman cartoon on cartoon network, dexters lab, powerpuff girls, johnny bravo, rugrats, etc. I still like to watch spongebob sometimes and I do have a spongebob snuggie lol. im 23 btw :)

20! I barely watched cartoons though. When I said spongebob it was mainly when my little brother watched it. The only cartoon I watched religiously was One Piece.

I am 21 and I have to said that I watched some classic animes besides of cartoons like batman, jhonny bravo, dexter lab and power puff girls or even the cow and the chiken also garfield....I remember DBZ, Saint seya, Yuyu hakusho, Saber marionette j.

You can buy each episode separate, but you need episode one to play (episodes 2-4 are like DLC in that regard).
