They never release at midnight. Sony is too lazy. I'm just glad they are focused on releasing everything Day 1 digital.

In other news, my PS3 has been very loud lately. It sounds like a jet engine after about an hour of gaming. I decided it was time to clean out the vents and turn down the temperature in my house (It was 74 degrees. HOLY MACKEREL, BATMAN!) Hopefully, it fixes the issue.

DmC, Dead Space 3, Crysis 3 and MLB 13 The Show were on psn midnite
 
I know that Dead Space 3, Crysis 3, and MLB The Show were all midnight release but they were also Pre-Order Day 1 digital games. Tomb Raider was not released at midnight and it was not set up as a Day 1 digital Pre-Order game. That may be the difference.

So, I'm encountering a problem with gamesharing. Don't know if anyone has encountered this...

I gameshared with a CAG (let's not reveal his name if he doesn't want), logged on his account, activated and downloaded the games, then logged off his account, and I went back onto my account, while all games from his account was still downloading in the queue. This is what I always do to every gameshare, and it works just fine. I'll never log onto his account again, as this is a phantom.

Now, with his account and only his account, I'm encountering a problem: I have downloaded the games to my PS3, however, NONE of them will register his account as owner of the game (and I do have his account on my PS3 still).

What's going on? Also, eventually when trying to activate a game from his account to my console (after I've activated a whole bunch already and slowly downloading in the queue), it won't even activate and says: "An error occurred during the install operation (80029780)." It says this message for games that I want to activate and download, and even on games that I've already activated.

What I'm trying to guess is that his account has a credit card attached to it (first time I've ever seen this for any gameshare account), and since I do not have his credit card info, I chose to delete his credit card info off the account so I can access it for gamesharing.
 
I'm sure I'm not the only one sick of having an additional account for a single DLC. I am looking to add some new DLC to an existing DLC group I have, and then rent it out for a week at a time, as it can't be phantomed for some time. The people in the initial group lock in at a fixed price.

It's alright, you can say it's my account. Try the Quote above yours, I'll trust you to go in and make changes as long as you change it back.
 
I tried a different solution and it seems to work (I do not want to change your user name/password or anything of that matter):

I deactivated the account on my console. Then, I went back in the PS store and reactivated the stuff I wanted to reactivate. So I reactivated it but canceled the download (since the game is already downloaded, but it has no owner). So far it works as I am re-activating titles and it registers your account with a game.

However, and it seems this part is random, it strangely will decide not to register at any random moment and instead throw an error message.

So what we have here is: Games have been downloaded, but only certain games have activated. PSN randomly throws an error message randomly along the way as you are moving up the list to activate games. Once that message appears, you cannot further activate.

Now I get to see firsthand one of the risks of gamesharing.

I will try to finish asap and keep you updated. I will not change anything in your account.

My god, PSN is giving me a headache. :(

It's ok, go ahead and give it a shot. Just make sure to change the email back after you try it. If it still doesn't work, I will issue you a refund.
 
Looks like my method I posted is working! I'm glad I didn't have to change any of your account's info. I am currently logged off your account.

By tomorrow evening, I'll send a PM to let you know how it all went. :)
 
You might want to long into the account, then go to account management > activate > PS3 > Games. That usually registers and associates all existing games on your PS3 to the account properly. Give it a shot, that may fix everything in one quick blow.
 
That error is easily fixed by just changing to a different email address. afterwards he can just change the email back.
 
I was looking through some of my old PMs and saw that ipacman is banned. Would it have something to do with a recent incident here?

Then again, looking through my PayPal records, the address where I sent my payment for Record of Agarest War is unverified. What a mistake I made dealing with ipacman.

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!! I just paid that guy extra for a share of a game that I had trouble tracking down. How do we find out what the scoop is?

I thought there was something fishy about him, but he seemed legit. He was probably the one who deactivated my dead island share...
 
I believe there were questionable practices being done by him. I had issue with at least one account he was involved with. Other people seemed to have issues as well. Like anyone else who messes around here they will eventually be shown for what they are. And then they get Banned.

Learning from my mistake, if something is too good to be true, it is. Marauder7 and I were scammed out of our Record of Agarest War slots. I hope that it was worth it to be banned over a couple of dollars. How pathetic and low it is what people will do for a couple of dollars.
