Will a UK game work in the US? (Far Cry 3)
 
I didn't do my research on this one beforehand, and now I'm kicking myself. It seems my Rayman Origins disc save is not compatible with digital version. I think there was talk on here once of converting an EU save to US. Anyone know of a way to convert disc to digital save?

Edit: there is a way and I figured it out. :)

Speaking of, I will be putting it in the GS library. It took all of 5 minutes to get the trophies. They are ridiculously easy.

Heh, minutes after I post. :) I'd be interested in a phantom, if you're OK with a relative noob as far as shares go on CAG (two so far). I've done quite a few on GTZ, though I realize that doesn't count for anything on this site.

From what I understand it's up for pro-order on EU PSN.

yeah it sucks. imo there should be a rule where you can't get a resell slot until you have like +3 feedback in yanks' thing. no risk of a phantom stealing an account if you change the pass when they're done downloading. if someone can prove you are a scammer, and you can't defend yourself, you should be put on the naughty kids list right away and lose rights forever

but overall, people usually trade one game at a time. if someone's dumb enough to lose rights to this topic just to make a few bucks, then it's their loss

mods should start IP banning known scammers instead of just removing their acct, would make it too much of a hassle for them to bother

just be smart with who you deal with. investigate their profile a little bit, look at their join date, their posts and topics, and you can usually tell if someone is legit if they have decent posts. if they have no posts and just joined recently they're prob a scammer. nobody comes onto CAG with this as their first topic

Choosing who you allow for a resell is up to the host. Yanks list is just to help host/sellers/buyers decide if they should make a transaction. As a host of a ton of groups I can tell you that I have sold resell shares to newer people that have turned out to be great. Everything that is bought and sold on here is a risk. Even a person who is a phantom can technically steal an account. Nothing is impossible. Just be smart on who you deal with.

It wasn't that long ago that I bought my first resell slot in a group. It had nothing to do with my feedback. It was that I seemed trustworthy enough to the host to allow me to do so.

it may also be a good idea for us to start using legit emails we have access to, that way if someone besides the host steals it the host can reset the pass if they have to. considering the host is usually one of the resells, and passwords are usually changed after phantoms are done, it would be a clear cut case of the other resell stealing it. would make it way easier to catch ppl
