So I have a question...  After hearing all of this universal praise for Xillia, I've gotten curious.  I have ToGf, but after about 2 hours of playing I just really wasn't feeling it.  I realize that I may have given up too soon as I've heard it starts out really slow.  I guess what I'm asking is, if I try out Xillia will it give off the same impression to me, or is it possible that I'll like it more?

I should add that I do like some JRPG's(a handful of the Atlus published ones, as well as FF), but the vast majority of them simply are not for me as I don't have the time to grind away in them.

I would say that Xillia gets into the story without much introduction like Grafes f. Graces f had to do a back story about friendship and yada yada yada for it to build up the story, which might have thrown off some people quickly, while Xillia seemed to just get straight into the story and had meaningful character introductions along the way. Plus, unlike Graces f's battle system, Xillia's battle system seems to give more freedom in battle. But this all all IMO of course.

Damn, I'm still only 14 hours into Xillia and 20 hours into Xillia 2 -.-

I'm going to do a new game+ doing Millas story after I do the after story stuff. After the final boss I had 42 hours put in it. I was playing on moderate and the only thing that I really had trouble with was the final boss at the end(I had to use a lot of items). I'm not sure if he has a harder version if you get the fel arms though since I only got 1 fel arm. Just a heads up though, If you are going for trophies the first time around, you can fail some of the side missions.

Fun maybe the first 20 minutes. Yes, there are trophies. Story is about 12 hours long. Story is bleh and the battle system is boring and repetitive IMO.
