Question: It's greatly frowned upon when someone knowingly tries to sell a share for more than they purchased it for (rightfully so), but what about trading? Say someone bought a share, but instead of selling it, attempts to trade it for something of value greater than the share. Would this also be a no-no or would it not matter?

I think that would depend on when the game was bought.

I will use The Last of Us as an example here:
Say you bought it for $60 close to release and want to trade it for Batman Arkham Origins, I would not see that as a problem since both would have been bought for $20 originally.

If you bought the Last of Us this week for $12 then trying to trade it for the New Batman would be a ripoff to the resale holder of the Batman share.

Of course it is all ip to the members of how much they wanna lose if they decide to trade instead if sell, but it could be worth it to someone who does not like said game and wants something different.

I do feel of you do a trade a lesser game for a more expensive one then you should only sale it for what you paid for the original share you traded if you decide to. In the example you could sell Batman for $12 and no more

You mean like, download and install it onto your ps3 as a resell then deactivating it after it finishes downloading for phantoms to grab it?

On that note, unless it's a different account, and I don't see why it would be, Kingcz purchased Crysis 3 from me for $8 a few months back. Actually, I believe the original owner of the slot was Clone. I specifically instructed him to not sell it for more than $8, but when looking into buying it back a few days ago, I was told he was trading it for Splinter Cell Blacklist. I believe that trade has fallen through though. I realize there may be a number of factors which could have caused Blacklist's price to fall for that specific slot. I guess what I'm trying to say is, the slot, assuming it's the same one, was purchased for $8, so there's no need to trade something of value greater than that for the slot.

1. Finish downloading and installing BBCP (host account)

2. Go deactivate the host account from the PS3 itself.

3. Sell phantoms

4. Deactivate all accounts

5. Reactivate account

yeah is possible? I didn't initially intend this as I didnt think of gamesharing it when I download it in first place till afterwards. can it be done?

I do it when I'm host. No harm is done as long as you deactivate it FROM YOUR PS3 after you grab it off your download list. You can let it download in background and install it then just re-activate once phantoms are done.

Okay is it alright if I install it before hand and just deactivate? Then reactivate the account once phantoms are finished?

You can play it right away. When the game is loading up, there's an option to press x to play online. or as soon as a new game starts up, press start and navigate to the Online tab. That tab will as be where you can choose if you want to be in a solo, invite only or pub session

I think right away while its loading, you can go online from the online menu, though I think you may have to do the prologue.


On a side note with no luck with stuff I wanna get, by Sunday if I have nothing on the cards I might just dedicate my last 60gb on getting a last of us phantom. How long does it take to d/l and install?

what if i told you one of the accts shadow sold me had trophies/demos on it and he claimed it was a friends account? (seemingly his friends main)... i don't like the idea of selling shares of your friends acct in the first place, but then to let a third party have access to the slots too? that's not fair to his friend unless it was done with permission.. both of you need to explain the whole story in detail and maybe you can win some ppls trust back

i am not accusing either of you of scamming the community, but you guys gotta explain whats goin on

This is EXACTLY what I said when I initially had received the shares! Something seemed off with the shares.. Btw, I had no idea the shares had belonged to his “friends”.

dunno how the convo got started, just scrolled down and happened to see this, Cak is completely right, u get 2 slots on inital account creation, then u can deactivate yourself and thus get your resells, and if u wanna call theyll deactivate for u once, what they call a 1 time courtesy thing, but its not something everyone should do since theres been times where they start asking questions or when they account 'specialist' is a noob and says youve deactivated once before in the last 6 months and they get their supervisor and they start going through your shit, even if u block ur phone number, once youve called from that number its registered in their database, ive blocked it and theyve told me who i am. Also, they know how many accounts ur ps3 is/has been registered on, i called about bioshock infinite season pass to get a refund since i had bought it on 2 accoutns wanted 1 refunded, and didnt even have let em know what the 2 accounts were, they said they look by ps3 id and which accounts their listed on and how many activations have been on that account since account was created.

Thank you.. Also, that’s why I use Pinger when I call them.. They can’t link the number you use to call them back to any accounts.

well, i got the perfect excuse which happens to be true, but wont get into that since i dont want people using it and then they look at me and my excuse as sketchy, lets say ive even called a 2nd time in a weeks difference and have got it reset =p

I know there's a bunch of trophy hunters in here and for some reason they hate playing online multiplayer, but how's the MP for Arkham Origins (for those that have played it)?
