No kidding, I was cursing my luck when I was the 21st person to sign up (or whatever number it was)

Luck seems to be with me still..

Here's hoping it holds out for the final game.. it'd be cool to get a DS game for my wife as well as some more MS points (if they'd ever put some new games out! I've got 1500 left from E3 in the hopes they'd have released some new XBLA games)

Sorry to be a dick but it's hard to keep this running smoothly when people don't do what the instructions clearly say. At least I'm giving them a chance to correct it instead of doing what I said I would.

Agreed.

Thanks for putting on this tournament KaneRobot. Hopefully next time we can do something that last just a little bit longer.
 
Congrats. I hope we can get another tourny going eventually. Maybe this time I won't get hit with 3 'Draw 4' cards in one game.:fridge:

That or set a score of 250 or 350 on there. Also, the ability to challenge a Draw 4 would be awesome.

Maybe, but luck is pretty much ALWAYS the reason someone wins. I don't care if it's one-and-done, three-out-of-five, whatever. Making it last more than one game doesn't suddenly turn it into a game of skill.

I have something in mind for the next round to ensure it lasts longer, don't worry.

But challenging draw fours is something I will never accept as a TRUE UNO GAMEPLAY CONCEPT. Draw fours should be the unstoppable juggernauts of Uno. Regardless, I'm sure I'll include it in at least one of the rounds in the next competition.

Sorry everyone that didn't win. I was the one who had to drop out at the last minute. Congrats though to CTH! I can't help but think... "It shoulda been me!"

That was a great game at the end except for drawing like 50 cards in the last minute of the game!!!

Actually, being able to challenge draw4's ARE part of the UNO rules: ;)

I know it's one of the rules, I learned that sad fact when I first started playing the XBLA version. And I've been questioning humanity ever since.
 
Here's a suggestion.

There should be a loser round. The biggest loser has to pay for Kane to come to his/her house and kick him/her in the nads while everyone watches on the 360 cam. :D

I don't want to give myself a fucking migraine trying to organize this. In a week or so I'll try to get an idea of how many are interested. If it's only a little over 32, I'll probably just hold a lottery for entry instead of trying to stretch it to 64. If there's plenty, then....we'll see.

If you want I could help you put together the tournment part or maybe even chip in a little something for the prizes. Not alot I'm not Mr. Moneybags like you but maybe a Xbox game or DVD.

By the looks of things, I am thinking most of the original 32 will return, plus there are more that want to join in, so I am thinking 64 would be good, you could use the NCAA tourney style bracket.
