I'd almost given up hope after round 1, but damn was that last game close.

There was one point when I went madman and took like 5 of their guys out in a row at their base 2nd base but they just kept spawning.

Good game.

The team we're to play today made a post. He said they'll be able to host, but he wants to talk about the match on PSN.:roll:


If someone wants to do that, go ahead, but I'm leaving a message requesting the server info, giving him our clan name in case he needs it, and stating that talking about the match on PSN isn't necessary. We are all busy people who might not have time to sit around talking about a match when there isn't anything that needs discussing.
 
I dunno what there is to talk about, just host the damned thing at 8pm.

They can host only 4 vs 4, so I guess we'll see how it goes. I have a feeling they'll do something boneheaded and we'll lose by forfeit or some BS. Whatever at this point!

We need people to join in, the dude named the server after his own name, isn't he supposed to put TTvsCAG as the title?

We might suck, but they weren't that good either ;)

Close at some points, it got away with their WH pilots patrolling well in certain areas.

I salute you all, gentlemen. This may be my last WH game of this illustrious tournament. May CAG find victory soon

I think it comes down to
1) We're not the best we could be at zones maybe
2) Tanks are way too fucking overpowered

We played well though.

You know, the sad thing is, if I were to contest this, I know what beef would say...
"Well, they posted they wouldn't be able to host the minimum number of players, and you were the challenged team, so it should have been up to you to host, so I'll have to reschedule or give you a forfeit loss."

Never mind they were all "we have a really good host" so I figured I could just take the day off from worrying about this :censored:.


Are there any changes that need to be made to the roster? Do people still want to play? Right now we have 1400 points (should be 1450, once beef fixes some things) and right now, team 32 has 1950... ~550 point difference, right now... it'll only go up. So unless you guys want me to challenge a bunch of teams and try to have 2+ games a night (some of which we'd actually have to win) we can't make the bracket.

As for still playing the GGL matches... do we need to be at the top 32 bracket to get that knife?
If not, I really don't mind whatever decisions are made, but if you guys still want to continue playing these GGL matches... I'll keep fighting for our cause (whatever that may be!). :D

Are these 3 matches the last we have to play? I just want to be done with all this GGL bullshit and just have us CAGs enjoy our rewarded knives lol.

I've wanted to be done with this since that match with MOD (who, funnily enough, dropped out of the tourny) when we found out about the "two twenty minute matches" :censored:.

1. The knife is awarded to any teams participating in the tournament who have played at least one match.

I think that Beef guy just has something against cheap asses.

While I enjoy a good challenge, I've grown tired of this tournament. The only match I've really enjoyed playing was against the GAP. They seemed nice and were close to our skill level, and I think I'd like to play them again in a different setting (i.e. outside of the tourney). Basically I'll support any CAGs that want to keep going, but with such a slim chance of making the bracket, I just don't see much reason to continue.

I say it's time to bring the focus back to CAG Warhawk Night.
 
Was GAP a "real" clan? As in, did they all have [GAP] tags? I could try to keep in touch with their leader so we could have fun clan v clan games with them later.

The team for tomorrow hasn't responded yet, but the team for the 25th said they can host.

Well, I'll leave it up to you guys. If you guys don't want to show up for the rest of the game, thats fine. With the way it's looking now, we'll end up having to forfeit the last game anyways.

I'm on for the 28th as well.

I'm getting tired of these matches because they're all fucking zones. Dear god, do you know how good it feels to play TDM or CTF after all these zones games?

Yeah, they had actual [GAP] clan tags. I sent some friend requests out to them after the match, and got a few adds so far. Plus, I'm a GAP member from waaay back, so I could reach them that way too if needed.

Maybe after we recover from this and start enjoying Warhawk again (I'm looking forward to having late night Saturday games, where a decent number of people actually show up, again) we could see about having a clan v clan game night with them, it could be fun, but no zones. :lol:
