Week 11 Schedule

Here are the other rules that will be the same as last year's online dynasty:
-All-American Difficulty for Games
-Freshman Difficulty for Recruiting
-Time Savers are Disabled
-Four Days Per In-Game Week
-Missing Two Consecutive Weeks is when you'll be kicked
-6 Minute Quarters
-No FCS Games on the Schedule
-No restarts allowed for CPU games

Let me know if there are any suggestions that you have to make for how we should do things with this dynasty, as I'm all ears for feedback on how to make this the dynasty that you guys want. It'll probably take until the weekend for fully-named rosters to be finished and released. Thanks for reading all of this and good luck to everybody that joins the dynasty.

I'm going to recommend that everyone that talked to me about a custom league head over here and I'm going to try and set up the real conferences still. I'm definitely in, just don't know which team yet.

Also, how long are we committed for? Last year the rug kind of got pulled out from under my team. I don't care if it is just me and you, I'd like to know how long I can expect things to be around.

I don't suppose anyone would be interested in doing a dynasty where we all have to stay below a certain prestige star rating? I've done a dynasty like this and it's much more fun to build a team up from the bottom and make it your own than it is to just take over a team that is already set.

You know after thinking about it I probably can't play so don't add me to the roster. Running my dynasty, possible future ones, and trying to do a few Madden leagues are going to take up enough of my time.
 
What roster set will we be using? Also, how do things like transfers and being kicked off the team work for online dynastys?

My big question is if I will have Russel Wilson as QB for Wisconsin. Also, if Terelle
Pryor will be taken out of the game.
 
Sorry, must've missed your post when I skimmed the thread.

The rosters I just got (Patrick Morty) have Terrelle off of Ohio State and Russell Wilson on Wisconsin, so these seem to be pretty good. I'm uploading them under my gamertag, so feel free to grab them off of me.
 
I'm bumping this up to get some more interest since we only need a few more teams, though I'm hoping to get things set-up by tomorrow night either way. I'm thinking that we'll take over Conference USA instead of the SEC to make it easier to displace the current teams that will be ousted since nobody's taking any SEC teams.
 
The CAGCAA is now open for business. I've sent invites to everybody but Sean since it says that he doesn't have an EA account or hasn't played the game yet, so he's the straggler so far. The rest of you should be able to join and get your pre-season stuff done by Friday. If you have any specific out-of-conference teams that you want to play, let me know and I'll try to fit them in to the schedule.
 
Wow, Did they modify the players positions and such? I see several errors. Most notably, Marcus Wright is at QB and white, while he is really a HB and black.

They only named them, so that seems to be a number issue with the original rosters. You should be able to edit them to get it right.

Sorry to have to do this, but I have come to realize that I have too much on my plate at the moment to have time for another dynasty. I would rather drop out now then wait too long so that someone can take over my spot before the dynasty starts up. Sorry again.
 
Frisky, I think they just moved players around randomly because Georgia Tech does not use Tight Ends or really nomral Full Backs since they run the option, but the rosters require them. Its just weird that they made him white for no reason.
 
That's not Marcus Wright, as QB #3 is actually #2, Darryl Dickey, on the spring roster going by the listed height, weight, and class. They only filled in the names according to the jersey numbers in the default rosters, but you can rename, move guys around to their correct positions, and adjust your playbook accordingly. The one TE is an LB and the other is an unknown true freshman, which they don't list on the spring rosters. You only have two formations that even use the TE, so you can swap out who should be in on those formations at that spot. GT just uses an unusual offense that clashes with the rigid roster system that they've used for years, but they've allowed for the adjustments to fix stuff like that.
 
We'll be starting up tomorrow, so be sure to get your redshirting in and let me know if you want to play any special teams in your out-of-conference schedule.
 
Sorry for the delay. Moved us ahead to week one, where everybody has a game. The first few weeks will be off-and-on since there's more room for out-of-conference games than I'd like, so I'll have to tweak that stuff in the off-season.

The CPU pass defense this year is such bullshit. I'm so over seeing LBs jumping 10 feet in the air while backpedaling to swat passes. This goes without mentioning the psychic DBs.
 
Moved us ahead to week 3. We still have the awkward half-player games this week, though next week should have something for almost everybody. I'll have to work with the custom schedule settings for next season to try to limit the massive bye weeks early on. After looking through the weekly schedules, only a few times will all eight of us have a game to play. Also, even if you have a bye week, you still need to get on, either the game or the website, and set yourself as Ready to Advance so that I know you're still around.

Sunday is not at all good for me this week, so I guess it'll have to be Saturday, in the evening most likely.
