ok now i am so mad i can;t harly typw but this is what happened. I have been to 3 different CCs since monday and now i decided to hit my 4th in NJ in hopes of grabbing extra titles before tommorrows rush. So far i have gotten at least $500 worth. So i go to this new CC all excited in hopes of finding the good titles im looking for and others to trade with you good people. I fill a shopping cart with countless good finds including Mario Kart DD which i have been looking for. I get to the checkout and say like always anyhting not $5 put it to the side. He then begins to put everyhting to the side. They all came out to be full price including $50 for mario DD. I felt my fingers tightening into a choking position and had to hit myself from strangling him who said that the sale was only last sunday and the manager that said all games were as priced. I left my pile on the counter and walked out. Maybe i should have paid the full price of probably over a grand and price exchanged them tommorrow but i was so pissed i almost killed everyone with a mario kart to the head. I am discouraged and feel that the CC time is over. They also said that the recalled the promotion. Maybe for tommorrow but i have a feeling mario kart and most of the good stuff i found will not be on the list tommorrow.
You already got over 100 titles from it. Quit bitching.
exactly
on top of that, mario kart double dash is still full price. no one mentioned mario kart was on the list. chances are, most good titles and more crappy titles were hidden away in the back till tomorrow.

No doubt. You got $500 bucks worth of games, be happy. Here's an idea, open one and play it. Then you'll be like 'Wow, this is a pretty good game for 5 bucks!' And all of your sadness will go away.

of course i knew everyone would miss the point of the thread.
yea i bought alot of titles so what u sleep on it u miss out.
i got the money and would trade almost any title to someone that needs that particular title.
the point is nothing on the list was 5 anymore

Yeah man. You're priveleged to score that many games. I went to my CC and I found a ton of games supposedly on the 4.99 list but they rang up as regular price too. Only thing left were old sports games. I came up with a big fat zero. Don't be a Scrooge, you've got a hundred 4.99 reasons to be happy.

You ever think maybe theY stopped the sale until its official start tomorrow? I mean, I'm just guessing here, but the ad says the sale starts tomorrow, but hey, CC only makes the ad, we can't expect them to know their own sale.

I got in on the deal, I'm just saying you're complaining that you can't get MORE games after you've already got 100. If you want the game that bad then just buy it, you already saved thousands if you really did buy over $500 in $5 games.
And maybe just try tomorrow. :p

comeone i got disposable income and i got the games i always wanted to try. Anyone would have done the same thing it's like winning one of those shopping sprees. Besides it's addictive like crack. I was just wondering if anyone else had problems today and if tommorrow the same titles we have used as a list will be 5 or will they select the crap to put out for 5. Comeon no jealousy if u got the means and the will get out there and get what you want. If i saw anyone in there with a list i would have helped him given him what he wanted and traded right there just like i have been doing all week with the guys i met in CC.

Are you gonna play all 100 games, or sell them? From a business standpoint, I'd be pissed, but from a gamers standpoint, I'd already been happy with the 100 I got before, and wouldn't have even tried to get anymore.
You already got over 100 titles from it. Quit bitching.
W0rd. Get over it and wait in line tomorrow if you want more.

can't...b..happy...must find...more..

yea someday i'll get around to playing them in the meantime i will sell some trade some give some to friends take some back do lines off some kindling for others u know how it goes. still the point gets lost the beloved sale is coming to an end prob the best deal cag has ever seen and i expect everyone on this site to take advantage to the fullest.

First Ill buy them all then I'll trade them with you guys. Who cares about all the CAG's who happen to come to the store after I've left.

You're just a hell of a nice guy, aren't you? I got your point in the first post, but Mario Kart Double Dash was never on the $4.99 list. And the $4.99 sale is PRINTED in tomorrow's newspaper circular. That clerk probably saw you coming (with a shopping cart full of games), told you some crap and you fell for it. I think you're just loopy.

geez.. I am glad you dont live near me... I spent around 130 dollars on five dollar games and plan on taking about 9 or 10 back

If I had ALREADY scored 100 games out of this deal, I would not act like such a whiner when I didnt get my way at the last store, unless you are planning to ebay... which I considered right after making my first large purchase.. but with the GLUT of games being dumped on there, most games won't even go for twice their original 4.99 price.

Be happy with what you have, if I had bought every game I saw for 5 bucks (and YES I could have easily) I would have disappointed others who sought the deal, I just got the titles I really wanted (with the exception of a couple), hell I have even tried to convince my local CC's to limit the amont we can buy, I dont want to get in a shoving match over a 5 dollar game

Your title should be "CC Beware of Me". Already bought $500 worth and all pissy because you couldn't get another cart full of games. Waaa.

before you know it, we'll have crybabies on here that won the lottery, that still buy more lottery tickets, and whine that they haven't won again.

BOO F**KING HOO!

So you got over 100 games and your whining because you didn't get more? Where most CAGers got 5-10 and are perfectly happy?

In other words, shut the hell up because no one really gives a rats ass. Go away because no one here is giving you any sympathy.

I'd like to know your eBay account name so I can see everything you bought....if you catch my drift.

Speaking as somone who spent a similar amount and is extremely satisfied with what I got, I cannot understand what it is you're compaining about.

Many of the titles on the list are conditional or YMMV. Get over it.

It isn't a matter of having the available line of credit. I could put $10,000 on my TRU Visa and get all of the stuff sold off before the billcame due if the products were in the CC. I'd get $100 worth of TRU store credit to boot. But the products weren't there and I only got up around $500 before declaring all the stores within the range I'm willling to travel purified of the taint of too cheap games. PArt of my satisfaction come from having sold enough stuff at a small profit to completely pay for the stuff I kept and gave as gifts. (How many times have I mentioned this today? The exhilieration is driving me madder.)

At this point CC doesn't owe me a damn thing. Anything more would be like a hooker announcing afterwards it's a freebie because you were so good.

Did you ever see the TV clip of the down on his luck Australian who won a lottery jackpot equivalent to several hundred thousand US dollars and when recreating the event for a local news reporter won another big jackpot? He was so overwhelm it had him in tears.

you didnt hit the one in woodbridge did you?

wow, you get about 100 games and you are mad when they don't let you buy more.

Hey pal, I got ZERO.

Tomorrow ill be there around the time it opens, just in case.

CAGERS BEWARE OF CAG100!
Not only will he go to a CC and clean it out, but then he'll come on here and bitch about how he couldn't get more!

No one is concerned about this because they didn't expect CC to keep handing them 5 dollar games until the end of time. You've got some sick and twisted sense of entitlement.

No wonder CC employees have been giving people the stink-eye when they come in looking for 5 dollar games. One bad apple spoils the whole bunch.

I GOT THREE GAMES!!! NONE WERE GEMS!!!! I DROVE AN HOUR AND A HALF TO MY NEAREST CC!!! PLEASE STOP COMPLAINING. It just makes me angry that someone who got over 100 games can be complaning.......i got three........stop bitching............

I imagine there will be at least a few decent games on Sunday. I know, generally speaking, that sales are too good to be true (for the most part), but you almost have to believe that CC's will get more games from a local warehouse. Do you know how many ebayers got a hold of this list and went crazy?

What were some of the other titles you had scanned? MK:DD is still $50 except for the very uncommon bonus disc version. Circuit City Value games will ring up for $14.99 or $19.99 because they have a different SKU. Other titles will ring up differently for different systems (i.e. XGRA: $5 for XB, $20 for PS2).

i got 0 games, was busy with my gf :[ but never put down a chance for that. well, hope this deal comes back again and i dont miss it

After reading that and your other posts, alcohol is really the last thing you need.

This CC thing is bringing out the best and the worst in people. I've seen both sides of the spectrum this past week... tons of people collaborating and sharing lists and tons of trading... And tons of greedy ass bastards.

Remember two weeks ago when everyone was excited about La Pucelle? Lower a game 15 dollars more, and people let their demons out.

OP is hilarious. I love his excuse "oh i was drunk when i wrote this, i wanna buy you a shot!"

that is sort of like a schoolbus driver getting drunk and killing all the kids in a bus wreck and saying "oh i was drunk, if any kids were alive i would buy them a shot and let them look at my games in the trunk" OK so the analogy is a little flawed heh

you know ... what pissed me off over this thread was not that this guy went to every CC around him and bought all the games, it is his right to do so and if that is what he wants to do with his time so be it... but he had an impressive amount of games... but when one store wouldnt sell him the games, he gets into a big hissy fit, probably stormed out of the store and caused a scene (that others probably stood back and laughed at no less) complaining that he wanted to hit someone, and later on he gets drunk before posting his mad rave about being screwed by Circuit City... after he had made off with TONS OF GAMES!!!!!

nothing...NOTHING should drive a person to want to act this way, it is pure greed that brings this crap out in people, pure and simple...

Umm yeah that about sums it up.

You could have just kept it simple and said that he sucks but whatever works.

Uhhmm hey he sucks  ...I got 4 games and I'm surprised at them. I'm having a blast with them. I just hate the stinkin' ass hoarders....
I felt my fingers tightening into a choking position and had to hit myself from strangling him who said that the sale was only last sunday and the manager that said all games were as priced.
Definitely. We should all think about physically threatening low-paid clerks who are just trying to do their job, and sometimes have to be the bearer of bad news. Like 'This game is not ridiculously low-priced.'
I left my pile on the counter and walked out.
And then you wonder why many clerks hate customers.
I went to one CC, saw a couple games that I wasn't sure if they were on sale. I said 'Can you please price check these?' They rung up at 19.99. I said 'Okay, thanks, I'll go put them back.' I guess that's too much to ask from some people.

Oh, and I'm sure CC would have let him buy all he wanted--at the actual price. Nope, not good enough.
