CAGLB - MLB 08 Online League - Congrats to BasketCase1080, CAGLB Champion!

Wow, that Hart home run and Fielder grand slam were such bullshit. I threw both those pitches out of the strike zone, yet they end up out of the park. The power of lag!

Anyway, good game. You did a good job of pitching me inside. I tried to time my swings earlier but it didn't help much. I had a little comeback going near the end, but it was too little too late. Congrats on winning it all. Thanks to everyone for a great season, and Frisky for doing a good job being commish.

the lag on my end was horrendous. I knew if I made contact with fielder hed drive it, just not expecting that much. Kinda sputtered at the end.. no idea why I didnt just keep CC in all 9 innings. Oh well, good game good season etc.

Now onto madden 09 with the packers in a week or so :)
 
Basket won then? Congrats to Basket for winning the whole thing, Supreme for being runner-up, and everybody else that stuck around through this long and painful league.

Dante: I don't think so right now, at least not anytime soon. If I decide to host another one, I'll make a thread for it. There was another league, but that's started already.
 
woohoo i r wiener... any chance we could hold another mini tourney or a playoff between the champ/runner up of this league with the other league they started once that one is done? Just an idea...

I'm all for that. We're about to start our 4th week out of 16 though, so it's going to be awhile...Octoberish. But I guess that's kinda fitting.
