CAGLS: Madden 13 Gentlemen's League - We Finished! Thanks for Playing!

i guess i will contact him thanks. im hoping season 2 i can get the bengals atleast to the playoffs this time. im very happy about the 8-8 but i if i can get this offense going like my defense this team could be a real threat for the superbowl or atleast i hope so

Quick two questions for me. What are all the teams opening up this offseason? Also, have their been any major trades done to the Atlanta roster? (No J. Jones, Ryan, White, etc. )

I glanced at them. It doesn't appear that any major changes have been made. The whole offense is still the same.
I'd be interested in picking up a team if there are any vacancies after this season ends.
Glad to hear you're interested! Nothing is available right now, but I am sure Nate would be happy to put you on the waiting list. Then we will let you know when a team opens up!
Here's to hoping the CPU didn't end negotiations with anyone I wanted to keep. Is there anywhere I can look to see who is leaving?
Not till the offseason. I know it did that to my guys while they were unowned, unless the previous owner ended negotiations.

Go to the last tab, and then under personnel, go to salary. You can sort by salary for 2013, giving you an idea on whose contract is up.

Any of you guys want a free pizza from Papa John's? I won a free code, but it expires the 16th and they're still in the middle of construction on the new one near me. The next closest location is over 30 minutes away. I don't want it to go to waste, so the first post that wants it gets it.

shouldnt we start putting trades up for review so that way when the off season starts and we have to sign our own guys from our teams we will be able to figure the amount of caps we have to deal with

Yeah, I think that's reasonable. Feel free to start PM'ing me trade proposals and I'll forward them on to the committee.

Had a little bit of moment of clarity this morning, so I just want to release this as an official statement and move on.

The league has been a success thus far because of the rules and policies I've chosen. I've invested the time and energy to create a league for people who didn't have a competitive place to play. I've taken community feedback where appropriate, and I've been receptive to ideas from the other league on how to keep things fair (trade cap, trade committee, etc).

However, with the idea that this league is a "step below" the official league, there is an integrity that needs to be protected. Any team that proves to be unbeatable, compromises that integrity and makes the entire existence of the league moot. This policy was clearly stated from the very beginning. As such, both the Dolphins and Patriots will be respectfully asked to move on at the conclusion of this season. The reasons for this are as follows:

1. Their record in this league is exceptional. They are 18-0 and 15-1, respectively, in games against other league members.

2. They have proven that they are both more than capable of competing at a high level in the other league, vying for division titles and beating previous Super Bowl winners.

3. They both have very good records in online ranked play...a mode that features some of the most nefarious and unscrupulous gameplay tactics that exist. Demonstrating a consistent ability to stop these tactics illustrates a solid grasp of all facets of the game.

I honestly appreciate the effort both of these players have put in, as they have been very dedicated and easy to schedule games with. Their skill level is just too high in comparison to the rest of the players in the league. I wish them both the best of luck as they compete in a league more appropriate for their skill level.

I just realized I never posted my availability after looking over the OP. Tues-Thurs Any time after 7pm EST. Sat-Sun open til the evenings. Mon & Fri rarely.
Dolphins vs Panthers for the Super Bowl. We have advanced!
Lets go panthers. i always go for the underdog

Oh wow...is the website showing this right? I have to actually advance past the Pro Bowl? Why wouldn't it just do this automatically? I'm guessing the Super Bowl teams could practice if they want? Let me know when you guys want to advance, I guess.
It doesn't give me any practice option.
So, it's completely pointless then. Well played, EA. Well played.

Advancing to the Super Bowl.

Trade Rejected

The committee felt that despite Kelsay's age, the Cowboys were getting too much back. Multiple members commented that Kelsay and the 3rd round pick should be enough.

The saints are looking for a monster receiver. Willing to deal draft picks. I am unsure of what number I will pick at - but it's around 15 i THINK.

if i would have know the dez bryant was on the trade block i would have made a move on him for sure. o well i guess still curious to know wut kelsay's position is
???????????????????????????
who would u consider the best then kaster
lol how did my quote on u end up before urs thats weird
woah, hahahaha, trippy.

I'd probably put the NFC North and South ahead of the East. The only team in that division I'd be worried to play is Washington. I'd be worried about everyone in the North except maybe Detroit and everyone in the South except for Carolina. Also maybe the AFC North, now that Cleveland is decent.

Titans are looking for a top CB. Both Kenny Britt, Jared Cook, and others are available.

I'm about to go out to run some errands, so if I get any PM's, I'll get back to you in the next hour or two. Don't spaz out on me, lol.

49ers Trading Block:

WR Michael Crabtree
Picks (1 x 1st round, 2 x 2nd round, 1 x 4th round, 2 x 5th round, 2 x 6th round, 2 x 7th round)

Looking for:

Elite #1 receiver
MLB
Center

I don't think RGIII will be out for any of the games. I saw the end of the Skins game and he looked fine.

What happened to him? I only saw the end like I said.
