I actually just thought that I'd kick him out, and see if he ever comes in here to post and ask what happened, lol. I'll look into replacing him tomorrow. I've got too much going on tonight to worry with it.

Yeah, in addition to their phantom app that never happened, I thought Madden was supposed to have Smartglass integration too (based on all the advertising I've seen). But I tried it yesterday and there's nothing. Should have figured.

I have no problem being simmed for week 9 since its already been pushed back. If the game isn;t simmed by 6pm tonight when i get home i'll just play it out to make it easier if the saints are on sim.

Either way i'm looking to schedule week 10 already figuring were advancing today.

Chetty played great, but the game fucking blew him the entire time. I kick 55+ yard field goals, they hit the cross bar. He kicks 55+ yard field goals, no problem. He hit sticks my guys, they fumble on command. I absolutely destroy his rookie RB and punt returner, oh they hang on. I throw a pass to my star wide receiver, and not only can he not hold on, but he gets injured. He throws passes to his FB, who gets rocked immediately...and the fucker makes the catch. Of course the game was in the rain, so I can't even consider it a true measurement of skill. But whatever. Lick my fucking nutsack, EA.

That was actually pretty tame though, don't you think? I'm trying to work on my anger, lol. I wanted to make sure nothing hateful was directed toward Chetty, because he really didn't do anything wrong...he was just definitely on the side of good fortune. Not saying he wouldn't have won anyway...but I can't stand wasting my time on games where I'm battling biased programming as well. I would have had more fun taking a shit.
 
I'm glad i wasn't the only one who was disappointed when i saw it was a rain game. It is my first one though, so i guess i can't complain too much. You did have a lot of shitluck on your end, but good game.

Yeah, it just bothers me because I basically take nothing from games like that. I felt OK about my defense, but you were starting to figure it out, which would have made me adjust. I felt like I was finally getting my running game going, but then when I fumble on the kickoff right after you score the game's only TD, it just killed everything. Again, not saying you wouldn't have won anyway, but I just have a hard time looking at those as fair games. In related news, the shit I took following the game was outstanding...so at least the night is not a total loss.

fuck these EA servers...Me and cgarb84 tried to play this game and it wouldn't work when I accepted the invite..."game session is no longer available." We both tried for a good 10 minutes to invite each other and kept getting this message. Going to try sometime Sunday. These guys make a ridiculous amount of money from these games...is it too much to ask to have servers that work properly?

I've been running into this. The only fix I've found is to have your opponent wait at the Madden main menu, and then you go into the online franchise and send him the invitation. I don't know why it works, but it does.
