I was thinking of making a thread similar to what they having going on at neogaf to try and figure out what games are getting the most hype on CAG.

I think we should try and limit it to games this year and what we know that is coming out next year.

Only 1 vote per person.

My Vote goes to Metal Gear Solid 4.

EDIT- Im not going to include a poll because with a fourm post it shows that someone has enough hype for a game to actually post something about it. It far to easy to press a button.

LittleBigPlanet for me as well. I'm thinking about selling my Xbox 360. 3RL today, yes that acronym should be a standard by now. Lots of exclusives coming to the PS3 that are very enticing. Mass Effect, Bioshock, Halo 3, Eternal Sonata. Ehhh I'll play Halo 3 enough, all my friends have 360. I really want Eternal Sonata but whatever. PS3 is reliable, triples as a computer and bluray player. I think I'm going PS3.
 
my most anticipated is going to Bioshock hands down. I'm all for long, immense single player experiences with fps games, which is why I love half life so much more over halo, and that's why i'm looking forward to Bioshock so much.
 
no poll? im looking forward to... phantom hourglass, smash brothers brawl, guitar hero iii, assasins creed and ninja gaiden ds... theres more but those are the top games.
 
Sticking with stuff with a known release date, I'm gonna have to go with Mario Galaxy. I'm hoping it will be the game to make me finally enjoy 3D platformers.
 
Although the game is a ways off, FFXIII and FF versus XIII by a good shot.

As of right now (which comes out this year), Ratchet & Clank Future: ToD.

On handhelds, FFVII: Crisis Core (no competition).
 
This is very tough. I'll vote Rock Band.

Honorable mention to Metroid 3, Mario Galaxy, Bioshock, GHIII, GTAIV, Mass Effect, Phantom Hourglass [and LittleBigPlanet and MGS4 (I don't have a ps3)].

Overall, I have to go with MGS 4 although I'm really excited for GTA IV. I won't be able to play MGS 4 for a long time and maybe GTA IV if I get a 360 this fall. If I'm going by games I could play if they came out now, I'd say Zelda: Phantom Hourglass just because I don't have a Wii, 360, or PS3.
 
Little Big Planet, it's the only game that may make me upgrade to next gen in the near future (halo 3, MGS and FFXIII can all wait).
 
While I have a lot of highly anticipated games coming out this year and next, I'm probably going to have to go rogue and choose Unreal Tournament 3. I'm sure that I'll like the other games coming out a lot but the UT series owns a tiny microspec condo in the dark reaches of my bastardized, sadistic heart.

I think it will be eventually. The OP just wants an idea of what to include in the poll.
 
Super Mario Galaxy or GTAIV.

Bioshock and Assassin's Creed get honorable mentions.

Since there have been GTAIV votes, but SMG is getting ignored, my vote goes for SMG.
 
Out of all these, Spore. That game looks so cool.
But other than those games:
Super Smash Bros Brawl, Halo 3,Super Mario Galaxy, Mass Effect and Naruto Rise of the Ninja.
